Enjoying White House Farm but have to agree on Stephen Graham's accent. Its a weird amalgamation of scouse and welsh that we've christened Sqwelsh.

I know I’m late to the party (currently well into first season) but REALLY enjoying stts Creek.

Took 2/3 episodes to get into it but now me and the Mrs are hooked. The characters are fantastic and all of them have loveable qualities even though they’re pretty obnoxious at the same time. Superb writing, very funny and each episode is only just over 20 minutes long!
I'm just finishing the 5th series. Nearly at the end frown

If anyone has any similar recommendations, I'd love to hear. I've got Modern Family on the watchlist for after Schitts Creek.

Sucker Punch. I expected it to be bad, but somehow watched till the end.
I like Sucker Punch, soundtrack & fight choreography are what makes it.

Behind Her Eyes

Psychological drama that is oh so British in its style; the kind of series that we do very well over here - a mini series straight from ITV.

At first glance I assumed it would be 'one for my wife' as it seemed her cup of tea, but I was surprisingly drawn into it from the off.

Girl meets man in a bar, things start to happen.

Then.....

I can't say much more without spoilers. If you fancy giving it a go (and it is worth giving it a go), don't read anything about it at all and go in cold.

A strong start but 'then', so a 7.25/10 on balance overall.

Other people have enjoyed the 'then' and would score it higher. I could certainly understand if they did.
Watched the first 2 episodes of this and kind of enjoying it, but it's been very slow so far.
I'm at the same point, 2 episodes in and enjoying it.

Well someone had to like it smile

Most of the girls are very attractive, but the two biggest flaws for me were the extremely cliched main story and the meaningless action.

Action without weight and consequence just becomes meaningless and boring, for me, regardless of fight choreography.

Smart TV app?
Turn off your TV and unplug it for a couple of mins.
Sorted the problem out for me.

If it's an Android TV app, and you have the ability, then try clearing the app's cache. If that fails delete the app's data too (although this will log you out).

Been better off staying as a scouser, however the series is very good and he's a good actor.

Think you have to turn tv off properly and leave for 10 minutes

That clears the issue

Try googling netflix issues

was ....forced... to watch the Fairy the twix incedent", whereby fairies a real and learn at a college , they all seem to be perfect people with oxford accents, exxept for Mother Earth frumpy one - they live in an "other wolrd" and call upon earth wind fire water or empathy to create fairy magic - some sort of creatures are stalking the college but cannot get through some barrier, of course "new girl" fairy who had lived in the real world not realising that she was one, has some part in it all. all woke boxes are ticked.... think twilight with a sprinkle of harry potter and a stranger things plotline but with swearing.
Snap… And quite liked it be honest.

Currently binge watching SuperStore and re-watching the American Office
snap two - superstore is good but i found it waned a little in series 2 - theres also an odd 1 off Olympics one thats out of sequence!

American Office -- i like it , i just wished they would dial back the "shakey cam" look a notch or two. i didnt watch after Steve left.
I've just finished watching Season 1 of Superstore. I'm enjoying it. Just nice, silly fun.

Two into Fairy the Twix incident with my daughter. I'm with you guys, it's actually quite good. Better than Brina.

Have we had "Roger Waters, The Wall" yet on this thread ?

Watched it last night. Good bit of entertainment and concert footage. You can tell that David Gilmour is not on Guitar and vocals but not so as to ruin it.

Monarca

Decent Mexican series about a tequila business that gets involved with drug cartels and the expected mess that comes with it, one of Netflix's better efforts.

Worth checking out The Good Place as well I'd say - similar feel and comedy to Schitt's Creek, just takes place in the afterlife and has added Ted Danson. Think there are 5 series now and it's really easy to watch.

Also really enjoying Superstore, great characters and some of the offhand comments are brilliant. Glenn "Actually not all Christians are homophobes" Sturgis is particularly brilliant.

I just click OK then resume the show. Never a problem after!

Having said that, I am struggling to find something to watch. Tried Schitts Creek and not really grabbed me yet, will give it another go.
