Simon Helberg has been in quite a few things. he's a pretty good actor.

Think he's also related to someone in the movie industry.
The man also hasn't aged in about 15 years, he's randomly in Van Wilder from the early 2000's and he looks the same now!

Johnny Galecki (Leonard) was reasonably famous before TBBT. He was in the National Lampoon's Vacation films, and then was a regular in Rosanne.

TBBT is likely to be his biggest gig though.
He was also in the surprisingly good Justin Timberlake / Amanda Seyfried movie "Out of Time", which was out after the first 3/4 series of TBBT.

Simon Helberg is a comedian and pretty good mimic, he pops up in stuff, the rest are a tad one note.

I expect they'll pop up in similar shows but simply not as good, like most sitcom stars do

So many of the came from Roseanne, I bet they were all chuffed that was coming back, just as TBBT was ending.

And then it turned out Roseanne herself was a self-important bigot. Who knew?

I actually rate him as an actor in TBBT. He's had some decent scenes where he needs to properly act rather than just be the normal Howard stereotype.

Sheldon (Jim Parsons) plays a scientist in Hidden Figures... its a good film in my view, but Jim is type cast in it.

Watched episode 1...... I just felt bad for the show.

Arguably even Friends or How I met your mother didn't drag it out this long to have the tired jokes played out again and again and again....

I'm sure many will have the freedom to take time out or go into less well paid ventures (theatre etc) what I do know none will be featuring in the A list film in 2019/20

Watched it....
hmmmm, it now feels like any other yankcom...which means it's pretty fking bad. Bad in the way that the SImpsons rips in it's early days, the canned laughter seems so intrusive, and the edits seem so sharp and harsh...I feel that maybe they've changed, or the writers have changed or the actors are being lazy...it just feels all so 'by the motions.'

the one bit that gave me a real chuckle, the two non actors, Tyson and Nye, that was good

Seems they’re actively recycling Freinds jokes now.

Halloween episode was a good on the whole, some great moments (the dressing up part), but relied too much on recycled jokes

I smirked once during second episode when Stuart appeared in the fake tan. That's about it.

Caught up on the first two and it is becoming friends. Put it out if it’s misery now. Sheldon is unrecognisable from the original character

I'll admit to laughing at the fancy dress scene.

But I'm just watching for the end.

I was unsure about Young Sheldon at first but I do find it worthwhile now. It's not as good as the early TBBT but it's better than the sad shadow of former glory that is the current series.

Agreed. It’s a shame I missed the last few episodes and they are no longer on All4 catch up, I guess for licencing reasons
