I'm abroad until Friday, anyone have a suggestion how I can watch this episode as my Sky account knows i'm not in the UK.

Have Googled VPN's and it looks a minefield to me, plus it means signing up.
I have to use a VPN as I live in Saudi and I found (after a bunch of research) that NordVPN best matched what I wanted and they constantly have a 75% off offer via youtubers etc. Been using it nearly 2 years now without issue.

You could google a website called, say, f movies and maybe watch it on that, I don’t know because I’d never advocate it obviously but others have told me about it.

The quality of video & quality of audio may not be as good. If only Friday and you have paid for it already then I would suggest waiting perhaps.

I use NordVPN here in Austria and works well getting UK streaming to work including Sky.

Kodi would be another option that wouldn't need a VPN... so I've heard...

Should work in the EU? I’m guessing you have tried though so must not be in the EU!

a few bits made me sad.

First, you've had 7 series with the same intro. Why make a new one with naff cgi?
Then do the bit we all knew was coming at some point on the first show?

It did make me smile that they had a contrived scene just so there were some arses out, even though it added nothing to the show. Like a nod to the early series...

The intro does change depending on the episode, and has always had clues about the upcoming episodes locations etc.

Now most of the characters are together, they've mixed it up to go into more detail.

I quite liked it.

Really enjoyed that, I always thought GOT wasnt my kind of thing and took a while to take to it but it just has a certain something.

It gives me a similar feeling to playing text based adventures on the computer as a kid.

you walk north, there is a door

enter

you enter the door, on the other side there is a naked women, she is buxom and comely, she looks at you with loving eyes reclining on a chaise lounge, there is a table beside, it has a game of jenga on it, there is a glass, it has a clear liquid in it.
Will you, talk to the wench, drink the liquid, play jenga, leave?

What, no option to stick your finger in her unmentionables? Poor show.
