The Big Bang Theory
Discussion
It's funny, because it's true (not TBBT, that hasn't been funny for years).
I there's 308 mins of this st-show left for them to tie-up any story lines, joking, the storyline ended at the end of series 8 when it was supposed to end.
No, there's 308 mins to work out what to do with the Raj character who hasn't been funny since the Howard and Raj partnership ended about 2010 and give a reason as to why Stuart was promoted to the main cast.
Anyway, bitter cynicism aside it will be interesting to see how it ends. I'm obviously invested in the characters.

I've been recording S12 from E4
It got to ep 10 before Christmas (I think?), then it seems to have stopped.... of course, if I search on Freesat there's something like 160 listings for BBT as it's on every day all day, but nowt listed for S12... anyone know what's happened to this last series on E4, please?
I think there are 1 or 2 episodes due in the US in January. As E4 tend to show about 3 weeks behind the US i'd guess it'll probably return by the last week of January over here.It got to ep 10 before Christmas (I think?), then it seems to have stopped.... of course, if I search on Freesat there's something like 160 listings for BBT as it's on every day all day, but nowt listed for S12... anyone know what's happened to this last series on E4, please?
I noticed somewhat of a continuity gaff in a E4 repeat of The Explosion Implosion.
Sheldon and Howard are driving out to the desert to launch Howard's rocket.
Howard says they should buy peanuts.
Sheldon says Howard can't eat nuts or he'll die and there would be nobody to drive him home.
Fast forward to the return journey and Sheldon reveals he really does have a driving license and takes over driving and duly
gets stopped by the Highway patrol for doing 112.
note ,licence spelt the American way as this is American for the pedants.

Yeah, he's more like a taller Leonard really.
yeah, that would have been an awful yankcom. Glad they changed it, Leonard was always the most annoying character in the early years. The pilot jarred when I first watched it...I think I'd seen a few series by then, but not sure.droopsnoot said:
How is that a continuity issue? That's an example of Sheldon pretending he doesn't have a license so that everyone will drive him about, then revealing it wasn't true all along. Unless I missed something from the explanation.
From my understanding, when Sheldon gets stopped for speeding he hands over his licence and says to the officer he can keep the licence, a later episode they attempt to teach Sheldon to drive using a simulator. They keep driving him around but an even later episode he admits to Amy eh got his driving licence a while ago.JimbobVFR said:

The one where Penny whacked him in the face with the cushion? Yes, probably a season or two pre-Amy.
Just googled it, season 2 apparently, back when it was funny.Saleen836 said:

Ah, OK. I wasn't relating it to any other episodes. I watch and enjoy the show (yes, still) but I wouldn't like to say I've seen any of them enough to remember stuff in this much detail, or even whether I've seen them in the correct order all the time. I did wonder whether it was a reference to other previous storylines.james_tigerwoods said:
One of my favourite episodes - The pillow to face bit was very good. And Penny looked very nice
I agree, she can whack me in the face with a pillow any time she likes.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1taEjHS8vMY
