The two stand out awful interviews I've seen recently are Amber Heard and Will Young. Clarkson flirting is not a pretty sight.

I don't think they were too bad until the Beeb sacked Jonathon Ross. Then they needed a platform for celebs to do some promo work and Top Gear happened to have the highest audience.

Early interviews were generally more down to earth but it's been the weakest segment of the show since 2001.

It wouldn't surprise me if there was some rule in the BBC that meant they were required to have celebrities on the show. But now they're with Amazon there's no reason to keep it alive other than as someone said earlier - they have no new ideas.

Good point. The jokes are not over played.

My only fear is it's the old "trailer better than the film" thing.

Have they been spotted filing anywhere? Any ideas on cars reviewed, challenges etc?

Hopefully the series keeps up this level of humour. I've been laughing at every release.

It's nothing like what we watched last series.
