I'll challenge you to that. (Leaves to gargle with some antiseptic).
It's almost the same as my predator impression. In fact, I can go from one, to the other with ease. I should go on Bulgaria has tLent, and embarrass myself in front of millions.

We could do a Predator/Drac double act. We'll take Bulgaria by storm with the help of the Great Shismar.

Back to the future, RoboCop and Starship troopers, all superb but not technically Sci-fi as they are all documentaries. yes
Perhaps you could enlighten me as to how the film Starship Troopers, based on the book by award winning Sci-Fi author Robert Heinlein, has been reclassified by

yourself as a documentary? Both IMDB and Wiki class it as Sci-Fi( amongst other genres such as action/thriller..but not documentary)...Do you know something we don't? Pray tell..

I'll second that. Found it in HMV the other day, brought back many memories and really enjoyed it.

Don't know Stargaze (does it have another title?) or Torn legacy (was that sequel to Torn Curtain?confused)

Fifth Element. For reals. And +1 for Silent Running.

Lots of greats mentioned, all the obvious ones.
The Black Hole is very good, very dark for a Disney film.
Outland and Saturn 3 both good. I enjoyed Hawk the Slayer and Krull when I was younger.
Westworld is still creepy..

Moon is a fantastic sci-fi film. I'm really surprised it's only been mentioned once on this thread. It's probably one of the best sci-fi films I've seen in a very long time so I can't recommend it enough.

I've always had a thing for the Fifth Element even if it is completely over the top. I love the flying car chase scene.

I thought moon was trying too hard to be 2001, but was so predictable it was underwhelming. I was by no mean whelmed. It could have been so good, but it wasn't... So there.

Starship Troopers. What in the wide wide world of sport, are people thinking in suggesting this film. It was an utter travesty and if any film made deserves to be 'rebooted' it is this shower of st.

It was an insult to Heinlein's original story. Never ever has a film been such a let down when compared to the book.

Would I like to know more? No I bloody wouldn't.

Back on topic:

I didn't notice it had been suggested so "The Forbidden Planet". It perfectly captures the sci-fi of the 50s and has a superb sound design.
