Replace the wiring,
Change the spark plugs,
Repair a piston,
clean the carbs........hang on, back up there - Repair a piston???

Yup! Having now seen the whole of the clip on the starting of the engine agree, as a lot of the smoke decreased after a few seconds - oil not water. Well, that and the fact that the carbs have been sorted. hehe
