Countdown to the end of Countdown

For those Countdown (and more importantly Rachel Riley) fans who are bemoaning the loss of this show, do you know that their is now a show called 8 out of 10 cats does countdown? Similar format except
1) It's on in the evenings
2) It's a lot funnier
3) Most importantly Rachel is on it AND she is allowed to dress provocatively again!

Got the confirmation email through last week, I'm filming on Tuesday December 16th and will be in show 4 on that day, starting at 7pm. Show 5 is after that so I'm put up in a hotel regardless of how I do.
Win some more games and I'll play through Wednesday, become an octo champ and I'm there for the first show on Thursday morning. Can't wait to show the whole country how much of a div I am!!

FWIW, there's five shows filmed a day, hence a guest in Dictionary Corner for "a week" is only there a day. The list of rules is quite, er, lengthy as to what I can or can't wear. Whoever is in DC that day/week hasn't yet been booked so hopefully it will be someone decent like Tim Vine or equally funny.
So if lucky enough to be an octochamp, I'd be there for two shows on Tuesday, all five on Wednesday and one on Thursday. In reality, I've told the kids I'll be back in time to pick them up from school on Wednesday...
