I liked it. It was corny but it laughed at it's own corniness. I can live with TV/films that know what they are.
This. I liked it. Since it's going to be on before 8 they need to keep light and funny, or else bite the bullet, go later and go darker. They'll probably get a better audience the first way though. I do wish they hadn't done the flying car at the end though, what a shame the couldn't have squeezed in a Fury/Avenger cameo instead. Robins okay but they're selling this off the Avengers movie.
Cast seems good although I'm not a fan of the older Asian lady, she was a grumpy cow in SGU and already seems to be something similar here. I'm intrigued with where they're going with Coulsen too and I don't really get the complaints I'm hearing about CGI either, I'm meh either way. I watch movies for the action, TV's better for a good story and characters.

Watching it now. It's pretty terrible.
Why?I'm always intrigued by posts like these because there's a difference between you not liking it and it actually being bad.
I dislike Strictly Come Dancing, X Factor and the like p and don't think they are TV worth watching. That doesn't make them bad TV, that just makes them TV I don't like.
I liked it and am have to have a show like that to watch instead of another piece of reality junk to avoid. My question was a genuine one, if you don't like it I'd honestly like to know why? Rather than just post 6 words and vanishing.
I thought it was quite good. Enjoyable at least. Characters good. A bit of humour, both at itself and as part of the story. Couple of twists (liked the idea of getting a nerdy establishment hater on board by giving an agent the truth serum. Didn't make sense that she was fit though.) Plot simple but coherent, which is good by today's standards where they're always trying too hard.
[Awaits inevitable victim of it's own cleverness attempts that will feck it right up]
You've always go to give these things time. Those that start off good - BSG, Heroes, Spartacus, don't necessarily mean they are good to the finish. Those that start off poor Babylon 5, ST Voyager can be great in the long run.

The flying car is a reference to captain america and starks expo
And in the comics Nick Fury has a Flying Car made by Tony Stark.IMO they need to drop in references to the Avengers. Nick Fury himself will need to turn up at some point, probably in the final Episode. It might be nice to have one fo the Avengers turn up on the view screen or something speaking to Fury or something to to it in.
