I think a lot of people are missing the point that he is making with his musical (talent) videos and cookery videos,
He is making a comment on the poor and frankly vacuous state of UK TV at the moment, I wouldn't be surprised if some form of 'reality' homage was to appear on the channel in the coming months too.

It was a bit random and not what I expected but actually quite nice. I guess this is what happens when you have money and time to spare, can't wait to win the lottery and do the same.
