Shaw and Collins played similar characters to Bodie and Doyle in The Avengers a few years before The Professionals.

Used to love the Profs, so wanted a RS2000, closest I got was a MK2 1600 Sport.

3-7 to 4-5.

OK - it's a minor point, but the GB sticker on the back of the RS2000??

Looks like the BRSCC logo but don't think they would have had any reason to knock out GB plates. Any ideas ?
It deffo was the BRSCC logo on the GB sticker ,I bought one for mine ,not sure if it was to copy Doyle's car .

I think I stuck it on the opposite side to the tv car anyway.

Funny watching 1970's Britain. Sweeney episode where they go to an antique shop in Notting hill, it's as grimy damp and dirty as you remember the 70's, utterly depressing, that area is now gentrified and the houses worth £millions.

Thanks! Here's one of me with it just after I bought it. The closest I'll ever get to actually being in the professionals :-)

Started off as a laser then was modified to look like it does in the photo. I've always preferred the look of the S though so when I had to replace some panels as part of repairs I put it back together to look like an S.
