I'm in my thirties, and have never seen Toy Story.
There's three of them - Toy Story 3 has a remarkably sad incinerator scene, where all the toys are waiting to die!I've balled my eyes out at Short Circuit 2 (when I was 6) and it still gets me teary at that bit.
I shed a tear at that scene in Toy Story 3.
But the biggest tear has to be shed for the person who's in their 30's and has NEVER seen Toy Story.

I've never seen Schindlers List.... got to the screening & it was full, so the two girls I was with suggested a George Clooney film which was on instead. Which I wasn't too keen on until they mentioned ladies with their bits out in it... Mmm Salma Hayek. (From dusk til dawn)
Schindler's List came out in 1993, From Dusk Till Dawn in 1996. Did you travel to your screening in a time machine?CardinalBlue said:
Not in a hipster "I'm too cool to watch it" way, I've just never seen it, or many Disney films to be honest. It just didn't play a big part in my childhood. I was in my late twenties when Lion King as well - mainly as my wife was outraged I'd never seen it and made me watch it.
My wife was shocked that I hadn't seen a lot of the Disney films when I was growing up (I'm 38) but sitting down and watching films just wasn't something we did as a family when I was young so the Lion King, Aladdin, etc. all passed me by. I have seen the first 3 Toy Story films though, no idea when! I expect it was when they came on TV.I've never seen a lot of the gangster films (Godfathers, Goodfellas, etc.) and I never tried watching them, I don't really have a reason - I just haven't sat down to find a film to watch and picked one of them.
Just having a look at this list https://www.empireonline.com/movies/features/best-...

Lawrence Of Arabia
12 Angry Men
Just never got round to them...
Both fairly recent watches for me. 12 Angry Men is much better than you'd think considering its pretty much as described by the title and takes place in one room.12 Angry Men
Just never got round to them...
I only watched Lawrence after a clip is used in Prometheus, and the Robot, David, models himself on Peter O'Toole ("The trick, William Potter, is not minding that it hurts", and "There is nothing in the desert and no man needs nothing"). Good film though.

John Carpenter’s The Thing
Spirited Away
Rear Window
Citizen Kane
Heat
And the Godfathers
Tried Heat several times and just couldn't get into it. Same with the Godfathers, not sure why.
I hated La La Land. A group of us mixed gender, interests and ages and we all thought it was crap.
Whiplash on the other hand is bloody wonderful.
Realised last night went the Mrs had cold feet on that I'd never seen Thelma and Louise.

Fair play on trying Schindler's list for a threesome date night movie...
"Oh my God... The Holocaust was so sad...""Yeah, I mean, just shows you have to live every day like your last, you know... Best stay with me tonight, just in case*"
You would almost certainly go to hell, but...
- Just in case what, I have no idea

Harry Potter films (seen bits of the early ones when they are on TV, never any of them all the way through)
Lord Of The Rings / Hobbit
Game of Thrones
Godfather films
Only seen the first Nightmare on Elm Street, haven't seen a lot of the 'classic horror' films like Friday 13th, Hellraiser etc.
The 90's Batman films, I tried to watch the Michael Keaton/Jack Nicholson one, couldn't get through it. I love the Christopher Nolan Batman films though, and the 60s Adam West series is great fun. I haven't seen the animated Batman series either, the one with Mark Hamill as the Joker.

Not seen:
Any of the Hobbit despite having them all on Bluray - just haven't got round to watching them.
Same for all the Lord of the Rings ones - I guess it's partly because they are so long, so tend to go for shorter ones to fit in time available (although this doesn't stop me ending up binge watching series for some reason).
Others not seen include:
Schindler's List
Friday the 13th
Final Destination
Halloween
Many of the recent superhero films (although have seen the Dark Knight trilogy)
I do seem to have seen most of the top 100 IMDB ones apart from those listed above though.
