Spears sister really struggling by the look of it, the bath scene was excruciating although worth it to see Ants reaction afterwards. She seems to have zero concept of how it works, what she'll do, who anyone is and zero personality on top of it all.
Josie Gibson for the win for me, she's coming across well, I like people who don't take it seriously.
Fred, as always, trying to hard to be the leader. And where did his full head of hair suddenly come from hehe

Watched the Pizza bit as was on, Farage came across quite well, never something I thought I would ever say to be honest, cool as a cucumber.

Feel dirty now !

What I liked was Farage seemed annoyed as fook having to give the countdowns each time. Like he was thinking FFS just grow a pair!

I've always liked Farage, but my missus said that I must be the only person in the whole country that actually does in fairness though!

He is coming across well in this as you say.

Grace is a working class lass, made good, from a fairly rough part of Carlisle so, yes, I wouldn't mess either!

Been incredibly quiet though so far, didn't hear a word from her last night.
Maybe just finding her footing.

Each year I watch the first few episodes and dip out. I can't see this year giving me much more entertainment but I'm going to stick it out and watch with the wife. It *may* be prove to be a good year?!

You, your wife, and your 17 year old don't know who any are except Farage? I don't believe you - if that is genuinely true, then you must live (very far) abroad, or you're TV, Radio, Magazine, Internet (etc) free. That you don't know - or even recognise - the likes of Fred S, Grace D, Hollyoaks chap, JLS chap, etc is, frankly, just not credible.
There is often on PH some strange projection of a higher intelligence through claims of being ignorant of modern D-list celebrities. I don't find many of the contestants one bit interesting, but I know who most of them are. Maybe I am thick.
Might sound strange but not everyone inhabits "popular culture". Adverts & ITV were banned in our house when I was young. I've seen a few ITV things over the years, but generally speaking, my parents were right - it's garbage. Adverts, I can't stand. If I have to watch anything live, I hit mute, or pause when they come on. Used to watch occasionally, but for 10-15 years no longer bother with breakfast TV, daytime, celebrity, reality, soap, quiz, saturday night variety, talent, national news, local news & weather. Oh & football. Also tabloids - DM especially is blocked on all home browsers. I should also say we don't have kids, so we've never been forced to watch stuff for their sake.

Obviously I'm ancient, but there's hundreds of millions of hours of brilliant entertainment out there, even outside of the list above.

Yep, I said to the wife, from her first challenge and how she handled it all, she'll win.

The JLS guy I find annoying.

Gibson looks a scream, bet she’s an entertaining night out.

Anyone know who the ‘late arrivals’ are going to be?

Yes it does sound strange. Actually it sounds like an utterly miserable existence - to me at least, but if it works for you then that's cool. I couldn't imagine blocking news sites, not watching the news, or having no kids (we have 4). Our house may be somewhat chaotic, especially at weekends, but it's quite good fun.

Nella, you’re a brainless moron.

Someone implying they’re old enough to be your Dad and you turn it into something worthy of never talking to that person again. Amazing.

Yup major rolling of the eyes on the sofa here. We were shouting Fred just walk away. This is not a reasonable person.

Similar conversation on the sofa here. How you get from 0 to "fk you" off the back of what Fred said speaks of serious issues.

Respect to Fred for maintaining some class and dignity.

She absolutely knows that drama like that will dominate airtime.

If I was Fred, I’d be making sure that I cooked breakfast, lunch and dinner until she came crawling back with a grovelling apology for her behaviour.

No wonder he was smirking, he must have been in utter disbelief and thought it was a joke.
