The most that can be said for it, is it is consistently abominable.
Oppps

....I got the feeling they really want to be the next Pegg & Frost - a VERY tough act to follow.

Thank god, something they did finally being crytically slammed. IMO they are the most unfunny, unoriginal pair of 'comics' arround at the moment. Not one of the things they are involved in has raised a giggle, they just seem desperate and their comedy is a million times more predicatable and tedious than a bus timetable.

Totally unfunny, just like all the rest of the 'pedigree comedy'. I guess they just have good agents.
Agents seem to make a huge difference in Comedy, the stand-up circuit is full of super talented comedians that make a living from doing small gigs and some manage to get radio shows. I find it amazing that most of those that become really famous and end up on TV screens are very unfunny and all write to the same format.

Some are around for years and deserve the praise they get but others, like these two are simply this years must have media accessory. Look at how well Peter Kay's career has gone since house wives and grannies loved him and Neil Fitzmaurice stopped writing for him.

As funny as a severed artery.

But what truly annoys is that the fat one's fame has led to him 'seeing' Sheridan Smith.

God, Yahweh, Allah whatever, please spin your wheel of justice? -Do it now. Having him fall off a wall to his death would be amusingly ironic.

I took great pleasure in reading those critics savage their film. The sooner that fat dick is back working in a fish and chip shop the better....

A man after my own heart!

The only thing genuinely funny about G+S is Nessa and Bryn.

That causes me genuine pain.

He should get his own bit of khaaansil and leave mine alone.

Don't worry gents, she'll drop him like a hot potato as soon as his star is on the wane, and the realisation that some sweaty fat fker puffing and panting pumping away on top of you just ain't worth it now he's getting panned.

I've had a think.

I thought it was awful, but I did raise a smile a few times, so there's obviously some potential there.

Gavin and Stacey was/is superb, but yes, it's Ness and Brynn that give it the edge.

The England sketch was class though, considering it was done in a very short time.

It might be Horne having to carry his mate, who clearly isn't a comedian.
I've always thought Gavin and Stacy would have been better without Gavin or Stacy

But then it would have been called 'and'.

Doubt it would have caught on.

Not fact.

I know Ruth reasonably well. Her and Jamie met on the set of Fat Friends (shot up in Leeds).

They got together and wrote pilto script which Steve Coogan's company liked, pitched and got commissioned for BBC Wales.

I know wrote it together.

Don't begrudge them a second of their success - but I don't see what all teh hype was about for G&S, to be honest.
Sorry, I didn't mean to pass that off as actual fact, I did indeed make that up, and reading it I can see why you'd be mislead smile

Horne & Corden,
Al Murray Multiple Personality Disorder,
Catherine Tate show,
Little Britain,
Katy Brand's big arse show,
Ruddy hell, it's Harry and Paul.

All terrible,

I think maybe the "sketch show" needs a long rest.
Couldn't agree more, these are all trash.
