Allegedly the creators of Flashforward have the outline of the whole story arc written out - they know how the first season will end, and also know how the whole series will end.
Which in theory makes for a much stronger/consistent story (thinking only one other series has done that - Babylon 5?).
Battlestar Galactica had the same story arc worked out which I think reflected in its quality. Reading on Digital Spy the Flashforward writers say they could finish the story in 3 series but would perhaps not rush if ratings were good. Lets just hope they don't pad the series too much and the pace moves along nicely.Which in theory makes for a much stronger/consistent story (thinking only one other series has done that - Babylon 5?).

How they can have him as the lead, then Jack Davenport as an ancilliary character i don't know...
From what I've heard and read about the series, Jack Davenport's character turns out to be a bit more than ancillary....Which is good - I've always enjoyed his stuff, since This Life in the early days and Ultraviolet (which was another story that had so much promise but was killed off early - albeit by the writer on this occasion, rather than the TV network).
The Lloyd Simcoe character is one of, if not THE, central character in the book, apparently. I know the plot has been rewritten but I'm guessing that they wouldn't make the character wholly superfluous if they have bothered to keep the name.

29th April 2010 is supposed to be when the last episode of Lost is supposed to be aired, or so I've heard?
FF is from the same producers, so is it just a coincidence?
(I've never watched Lost, so I've got no idea what happened in it.)
Is that true?FF is from the same producers, so is it just a coincidence?

= unlikely!
ETA: its also NOT by the same 'producers' as Lost...just the same channel.

I've heard that this first series of FF is 22 episodes long? Can anyone confirm or deny that?
Most American series (sorry, seasons!) are anywhere between 20 and 24 episodes long.....Although the 1st series is often a little bit shorter....
So yeah, it wont be far off 22....
