After a scratch? Seriously? What's wrong with water? I know I'm going off topic, but do people go the the doctor because they've scratched themselves?
I know the wife of somebody on this thread had sepsis recently, and I'm not, for a moment, trying to offend or upset anyone. I'm just not at all sure how so many people get to take so many antibiotics that they cease to be effective.
Yes, after a scratch. The first person to be treated by an antibiotic was scratched by a rose.I know the wife of somebody on this thread had sepsis recently, and I'm not, for a moment, trying to offend or upset anyone. The wound becomes infected, the infection spreads may kill you if not treated in time. Antibiotics are overused in people, and massively overused in farming.
I got cellulitis last year and was hospitalised whilst on IV antibiotics called Teicoplanin. I was seriously unwell with a temp' of 41, vomiting and a terrible headache. Evidently just a small step from sepsis. I contracted it through a small wound on my ankle. I don't think I've ever felt more unwell.

My partner was seriously ill with cellulitis with a concern about sepsis last year too - Her legs swelled up massively and she was on some heavy duty antibiotics for quite a while. She was in A&E several times and was gravely ill for some of it. All from an insect bite on her ankle...https://www.google.com/search?client=safari&ch...
Ankles seem to be a weak point. A friend was hit on the ankle by a stray football in the park, it slightly split the skin. She ended up with cellulitis so bad that she was on crutches for 5 years and remains disabled over 10 years later, The damage caused to her arms by using crutches for so long means that she can now only wrote with her left hand (she was right handed)

If Nic did run him over, it was more than likely an accident rather than because of a specific beef with him. Wasn't she hurrying back from her shift at the Bull or something?
I'm not sure but you're right, surely it would've been an accident if she did it... Oh noooooooo!Rh14n said:

Trouble is we'll never know now, though it did sound like she was saying something like Matt. And on the subject of 'fessing up, Brian's made a huge mistake in confessing to Jennifer, imo.

There was me thinking the post about Nic's deathbed confession was a straw in the wind, but blow me down, Joe Grundy starts asking the policeman if they know who knocked Matt down! And on the subject of 'fessing up, Brian's made a huge mistake in confessing to Jennifer, imo.

So what do we think Nic said to Joe just before dying? My guess is a confession to running over Matt perhaps?
Well done, didn’t see that at all. Also agree that Brian should have kept his trap shut. I wonder why they don’t catch on that there’s hidden microphones everywhere in the village so we can hear what’s going on. Daft.
