The Price of Football.

Interesting so far. Not great production standards, but if you're interested in the grubby side of the beautiful game it's pretty good.
Thanks for that. I'm hooked on this one. Fascinating.

Introduced a couple of colleagues to No Such Thing As A Fish during a couple of hours of Belgian motorways this evening, think I may have caused a couple of new subscribers.
What's it about?
Some boring middle-class student types talking about a specific subject their academic virtues have enabled them to read up on for the benefit of each show. The only amusing bit being their complete lack of knowledge about anything else.

Season 2 of 13 Minutes to the Moon is now available, first episode released on Monday & it's very good.
Brilliant.

Why’s there a season 2 though, I though season 1 ended up on the moon? hehe
Just started listening to s1 off the back of this thread. Absolutely brilliant podcast

Seconded. Overrated cr@p, loosely 'fact checked'.

I quite like the subject matter. It's the way they all find each other beyond hilarious that lost me as a listener.

I'm glad it's not just me that dislikes it.

Never got into it either.

I'm really enjoying the second series of 13 Minutes to the Moon; in fact quite a few BBC podcasts recently. 'Evil Genius' is good fun, a little lightweight but passes the time.

Other favourites include:

Car Chat
Collecting Cars
The Boring Talks
Shagged Married Annoyedd
Techs Message
The Unmade Podcast
Hello Internet
Beyond Today
The DriveTribe podcast.

Cortex is good in small doses (as is most Relay.fm stuff, although the US bias does get on my nerves a bit, especially as the co-founder is a Brit and insists on saying things like 'mult-i-tasking' rolleyes

Not too keen on drama type stuff, I prefer to keep it factual.

Something Rhymes with Purple

It's fantastic - Susie Dent and Gyles Brandreth talking enthusiastically shut the etymology of words. Most weeks are structured around a theme. Sounds dull, but they're both so into it, it's fascinating.

WTF with Marc Maron.

Just watched his Netflix specials too. A very funny guy. Especially if you're kinda middle aged. wink

Political Party with Matt Forde

Yesterday's interview with Anthony Scaramucci was one of the best ever, despite Matt seeming slightly off his game

Scaramucci was extraordinarily frank, sounded totally sincere, and a brilliant interviewee

I used to listen to him, but there's an episode he did with Jack Straw and he was fawning over him about the Iraq war. So after that I won't give him the time of day.

He's off for the week now but Christian O'Connell has a podcast for his radio show in Australia which is really good. Very good and very funny. There's also The Curious Cases of Rutherford & Fry. A science podcast from Radio 4.
