Whilst I love Johannes, I've always found Catherine rather limp and insipid, and she's never really come out of her shell.

It was good not to see a unanimous vote from the judges for once. So those calling it a bad decision by "the judges" need to direct their ire at only some of them rather than all 4.

There should be a ban on dry ice. How can you see the footwork in all that?
I assume that's the idea, see also: camera angles that cut off at the knee.

Yeah please dont ruin this thread, pretty sure most who post here watch the show as it's intended and enjoy the results on Sunday.

Why anyone is so desperate to search for spoilers on Twitter etc as soon as they're out is beyond me but it'd be nice if we had no mention of it in here...
They specifically ask the audience not to speak to a 'know man' (i.e. the guy who hangs around the studio afterwards asking who got knocked out), and I really have no idea why anyone would tell him.... it does spoil that aspect of the show I think

I thought from the beginning that Catherine looked a bit wooden in the legs dept.
Also a bit Strange from the PH world that no one has made any comments about Motsi. How did she ever manage to dance?

Put it this way I would love to see what she's got hiding up her jumper :-)

The jump she wore on Sunday really highlighted the vastness of them.

She has fairly recently had a baby I think so perhaps her top-bks weren't a big before.

Will and janette are out due to Will's injury not healing fast enough. Bit of a shame as he was fairly likeable and was doing a reasonable job all things considered.

I still chuckle when I recall Shirley Ballas' gaffe when Jonnie Peacock was wearing a blade rather than a prosthetic foot in one dance, and she said he had a spring in his step. And he was like "errr... yeah. Literally". hehe

Slightly time-delayed here.

Well, I liked Emma's Samba even if the judges didn't much care for it.

I loved her dress. cloud9

I don't think it was Kelvin's strongest dance though.

Edit: Decent score though, so what do I know. paperbag

Otis sister still as fake and irritating as ever.

Have to mute her comments when she speaks.

Trying to watch Mike but distracted by just how good Katya is.

The judges weren't very impressed by Emma & Anton's rumba but I quite enjoyed it. Emma also looked fabulous.

I thought they were really oddly unfair with their marking of Emma, almost like they're trying to force her into the bottom two. I thought she did a pretty good job.

Chris was good, for once, partly because that song is such a nostalgic classic for me.

Michelle was ace and Karin was even better. Mike and Katya were decent but considering he cocked up a massive bit in the middle why did he still get a 7 from Craig?

I thought Countess Emma just looked awkward and uncomfortable. Every dance she does looks kind of the same, and she's a bit wishy washy.

Outside of the very obvious best dancers, the judges are just making very odd scoring decisions.

There was no way that Mike’s scores related to the comments or his actual achievement. He was way out several times, yet both Emmas get lower scores.

It looks like they are being put into play, just to see if they have the public vote.

Agree. Don’t understand why the judges seem to dislike them so - do they owe them money or something? Shirley especially is so inconsistent with her comments and marking,I’d happily see her replaced by a less biased judge next year.
