I'm also 3 in and enjoying it... it's not fluff 'n' stuff neither is it DAAAARKKK. Quite interesting and an attempt to show a different hero dynamic and how it could relate in a semi-realistic fashion
Is it suitable for a 14 year old boy? We’ve seen Bly Manaor, Gotham etc obviously he can’t watch the boys.bing said:

Netflix popped a load of dystopian films into a suggestion reel yesterday so I watched ‘What happened to Monday’ last night, Noomi Rapace plays septuplets in a world where you are limited to only one child. Pretty decent film actually, 6.5/10.
Also lined up one called ‘Cargo’ with Martin Freeman, a pandemic has struck and he’s trying to ensure the survival of his daughter.

The original highlander is out on the 16th. Superb film.
I really enjoyed the tv show too. Haven't seen it in years and never in order of episodes/seasons but I see its on amazon prime so may have a crack.
Sad to read stan kirsch who played richie committed suicide at the start of the year.

We're working our way through it at the moment and totally agree with you about the Maury Terry stuff, some of it was reaching so far to make it fit it was hilarious.
I was really looking forward to this but am, at the moment, a bit, meh.
We watched the first ep as it was really just a documentary of the actual events. Got about 15 mins into the second before realising the rest was just going to be about this guy’s theory which we didn’t think seemed likely to be true at all, so we ditched it.I was really looking forward to this but am, at the moment, a bit, meh.
The most amusing part was how short Abe Beame was.

Jupiter's Legacy is out today, another take on the superhero genre. Really looking foward to this, just need to finish Shadow & Bone first.
Probably enough of these things out there by now. Will need to be exceptional to better The Boys or Watchmen, the trailer doesn't look too promising... .Four episodes in, and it’s about as mediocre as expected. Nowhere near as good as The Boys, Watchmen, or (best of all) Invincible. Closer to The Umbrella Academy.
However, I’m mildly interested in seeing where the story goes, so will watch the remaining episodes.
I finished it.
Enjoyed it overall. I'm slightly confused as to who the kid with the baton is, I though it was Skyfox but after they got back to the US it seems another character has that in the 30's period.
I did find the 'old' versions a bit uncanny valley with the makeup, especially Walter.
And was there a reason for the changing aspect ratio?
I tried the Irregulars. Turned it off after 15 minutes, felt more like an America teen high-school drama than a Sherlock Holmes supernatural adventure. Is it worth carrying on?

I wasn’t impressed by the trailer, and wasn’t going to bother watching. But on the recommendation of a friend decided to give it a go.

Enjoyed it overall - much preferred the 20’s storyline than the one set now. Four episodes in, and it’s about as mediocre as expected. Nowhere near as good as The Boys, Watchmen, or (best of all) Invincible. Closer to The Umbrella Academy.

The fake beard and grey hair got on my nerves.
