Just watched Cargo.

VV good. Martin Freeman is excellent and by not going all out gore it cranks up the tension. If you've got young kids you may find this a hard watch!
I watched this last night, a good alternative take on the zombie genre, with more of a moralistic viewpoint than all out blood and guts. I enjoyed it.

I'm very late to the party but last night watched the end of Season 2 of Master Of None. Really enjoyed this season... The Italian theme and soundtrack choices were great and Alessandra Mastronardi is absolutely adorable. Anyone else think the Chef Jeff character had to be based on Anthony Bourdain?

Don’t even bother contemplating continuing. It’s garbage after the initial fairly interesting idea.

I read this and thought - well i'm quite a way through so I might just go to the end of the series to see how it ends...
I'm 8 1/2 episodes in - its 21 episodes long!
Binned.
Back to Peep Show. Classic.

Not Netflix but we are watching Big Little Lies at the moment and I would highly recommend it.

Looks like Matt Groenings new series is destined for Netflix.

Disenchantment starts 17 Aug.

I was just coming to post this too - I'm looking forward to it.

Three episodes into the new 13 Reasons Why, and I'm ambivalent.

I was hoping for a new story, but all we've seen so far is rehashing of what we already know. I'll persevere, as the first series was sooooo good, but I'm a bit disappointed thus far.

Can anyone reassure me (without spoilers)?

We are 1 ahead of you and it seems to be picking up the pace

We had largely forgotten big chunks of S1 so think the first 3 have been re-setting the scene a touch, friends have completed it and say its worth it

Just finished a few day binge of The Sinner. Thought it was really good. Kept me hooked and not too long. Everything resolved nicely.

Then I read they are making a second series...

About what?! Unnecessary.

Nah, plenty of scope to add a few twists! True Hollywood style!

Its going to be following the cop on different cases. Biel isnt even in it.

He was not interesting enough to me to build a show around.

Based upon this thread I've just started watching Evil Genius. Utterly brilliant so far. Reminds me of Manhunt:Unabomber

Midnight Express has just turned up - worth a viewing if you haven't seen it (and a repeat viewing if you have)

Season 2 of Fauda, the Israeli army undercover unit thing, is up - two episodes in and looks very promising.

As with Season 1, found that the dubbing into English was a distraction so set to Arabic with English subtitles.

Manhunt: Unabomber is well worth watching, chucked it on over the weekend and I was hooked.

I was a little kid when it happened so didn't know much about it. The 8 ep series is about 80% accurate apparently, which isn't bad going for a dramatisation.

Finished it this weekend and it was certainly worth sticking with. Great stuff. And there's still three or four loose threads that they can pick up with S3 if it comes along.
