Half way through 'The Staircase' - made by the folk that made 'Making a Murderer' (and similar).

It's very slow, but very compelling.

Just watched "November 13:Attack on Paris". I'm constantly amazed at the mental strength some people have and the skill and bravery the security forces have when called upon.

Binged it. Very good but way too long. Could have been done in 6 eps not 13 (though I understand it was originally 10, and 3 have been added).

its actually been in iPlayer for ages.. as part of storyville collection .... i think the title was "death on the staircase" or something...

not quite sure why its being advertised as Netflix original...

I think it's because they just released three more eps ... that bring it up to 2017.

Just came here to get some new ideas.

But hadn't seen anyone mention Manhunt: Unabomber.

Another, based on a true story, but I found it very interesting and quite clever.

Bit late to it but Fauda - very good. First episode is edge of the seat stuff!

I'm impressed at how even-handed the Israli producers have been in portraying both sides of the conflict as humans, it could have easily been a propaganda piece but isn't and is all the more compelling for it.

Also catching up on Peaky Blinders as we don't have terrestrial TV. Watchable guff, but at least we'll be able to join conversations with friends who watch it now.
