Some of the episodes are so far out I find them very amusing.
Watching the couple with the dog for instance.
Would highly recommend if you like characters that are complete narcissists.

I'm half way through ep2. 'Ominous' so far. Also strangely compelling. And beautiful.Anyone else watching?
Have you watched it all? Is it worth the investment?
Some proper tyre action going on though

Started watching series 2 of Black Summer, seriously disappointed, I enjoyed the first series but this is all over the place bouncing back and forth in the story line.
Have to agree unfortunately. Some of the episodes are just like watching someone play COD.A couple of the later episodes are ok - real let down after series 1 though.

Can see why Ridley used it for Prometheus.

I’ll take the rescue truck from episode 4 please.

Just watched Fatherhood.
I'm not a big Kevin Hart fan but enjoyed it, probably not that relatable if you don't have kids.
A solid 6.5/10.
Same thought it was decent. Thought Kevin Hart carried it pretty well and the supporting cast was good. Only thing I would say is they tried to make it poignant but didn't think that really landed.I'm not a big Kevin Hart fan but enjoyed it, probably not that relatable if you don't have kids.

The Dead Don’t Die.
Slow meandering st.
Great cast, good trailer - terrible film.
3 out of 10.
The trailer makes you think it must be good and funny because of what it's about and who's in it. And you turn out to be terribly terribly wrong. Slow meandering st.

3 out of 10.
Having rethought my original score from the Films thread, I now give this 0 out of 10. Biggest waste of time I've seen and I've watched some utterly terrible films.
It's like some sort of weird art project made by people who think they're really clever, but ended up just wasting the time of everyone involved and anyone who watched. Fairly obvious that no one in it really cared at all and just took the money.
At least your average really st film has the excuse of no budget and no experienced actors in it.
The whole thing is an insult to cinema created by a director who clearly overdosed after sniffing too many of their own farts.
Obviously The New Yorker loved it and gave it a good review based on how clever it was (dahling).
Christ Almighty it was terrible - wish I'd checked in on here before pressing play. Utter ste just dont bother.

Just seen the first episode of P2 of Lupin. Worth a watch if anyone hasn't seen it (well, from P1, at least!).
We've just started watching this again. Am I going mad, or was the first part subtitled and this one is dubbed?Re dubbing/subtitles etc.
Thanks to Pidsy I'm currently enjoying Katla.
I'm watching the English dubbed version of this Icelandic drama
One of the characters speaks Icelandic (dubbed english) but switches to Swedish depending on who's she's talking to. This is subtitled in english.
I don't tend to look at peoples mouths if I'm listening to the dubbed version as I find the lack of sync gets distracting.
Because of this it took me until the end of episode 4 to spot that the actress playing this character must also do her own english dubbing track because she also speaks english to some of the other characters as well without me realising!
So I now have to listen, read subtitles and lips to figure out what language she's using at any time whilst also wondering whether there's any deeper significance to it all .
