It would look that way, I would love to know what goes on at the end of the calls when they do CPS decisions.

Circumstances behind it were maybe not known enough to get them acceptable full term and needed the police to do more work.

It’s easy to blame the CPS but there would be a lot of complaints if the gang were taken to trial on insufficient evidence and weren’t convicted, or were only convicted on minor charges. It would waste a lot of money and they’d be out on the street and dealing again more quickly.

Maybe, but then when they did get the senior figures for money laundering etc., the top dog got a measly 30 months, and his sidekick absconded out of country, an effing joke.

Plus, the DS received a direct threat on camera..

And tragically, the tree surgeon passed away ;(

None of which the police or CPS are responsible for. Crap sentences for money laundering are down to Parliament.
