Amazon Prime Video, what gems have you found? (NO SPOILERS)

West Wing - absolutely loved it. The characters were all endearing and I was really rooting for those two to get together by the end!

Bosch - love the format and really well-written. Bosch has some great lines and his house is beautiful!

Blacklist - watched the first 5 seasons and it's entertaining, but I can't help feel like it's been spun out for as long as possible, a bit like Dexter.

Desperate for Amazon to start offering season 3 of Yellowstone...

It’s taken an absolute hammering in its reviews (not much love on here either) - yes, it is very dark. yes, it is slow.

But it’s right up my street. Thoroughly enjoying it so far.

I think, as of eps 5 and 6, it's starting to make more sense. It shouldn't have taken so long. When series take so long to give something of substance to the audience, it makes me worry that the writers really don't have many ideas to share so they're protecting the one good idea they have.

I enjoyed this. I mean it's about as french as you can get (with english actors!) and I have no idea what it was all about or what it meant, but there's some stunning french countryside and that's good enough for me.

Amazingly my 12yo daughter watched it with me and enjoyed it too. She had no idea either!

ETA Ah, of course. I've figured it out and now I need to watch it again through a new lens. What a great film (and soundtrack). How did I miss that?!

I like it, they are short episode and watch at work during lunch brake on tablet!

It’s really good, goes a bit weird from season 6 onwards. Is currently back on form for season 9.

Taking my time with Outer Range but loving it, watched episode 3 last night and just didn't see that end coming. Intrigued to find out how things pan out next!

Struggling a bit with the vastness of the place though, it's hard to imagine (as somebody who lives in the UK) having so much land that a hole that size can go completely unnoticed by everyone.

Incredible isn’t it - just the “west pasture” is 1200 acres.
I find it hard to comprehend some of the property sizes in the states.

There are spaces in eastern Russia, northern China, central Australia and the American continent (for some examples) that make our island look tiny. I cycle a lot so even the UK seems bigger to me than it used to when I would hare around the length and breadth of the country in my car for work but YouTube recommended something to me last night that made me realise how big the earth is - a rockfall/landslip in Canada into a body of water than created 100m high tsunami. No-one witnessed it. They only discovered it because someone in "Australia" (amongst other countries) measured the resultant earthquake. Subsequent flyovers confirmed the devastation but it's in a region so totally unpopulated, no-one (apart from seismologists) in Canada noticed.

The first 4 seasons are some of my favourite television.

Yes first four seasons are very good, albeit with some rather patronising moments.

There is a strong case for The West Wing being the best TV series ever made. I have watched the entire series at least ten times, I'm not interested in watching anything else really.

The 'numerical trilogy' of 17 People, 18th and Potomac, Two Catherdrals are absolutely sublime. Season five is the slightly weaker one, season six and seven are as good as the first four, though season two is the best.

I just watched the last two eps of Outer Range and even though it answers some questions, it just didn't work for me. In fact it feels a little like the Emperor's New Clothes - it screams "I'm clever and mysterious" but in fact it's just slow and the writers really haven't a clue how it's going to play-out.

Darkish comedy about an ageing female comedian and her new writer.

I’m loving it but it won’t be for everyone.

Just watched the first episode, except it was interrupted when my cat got excited at the sound of a pill bottle being rattled on the television and thought it was the sound of his tub of cat treats being rattled. He then wouldn't stop fussing until I paused the programme and gave him treats.

Thankfully there aren't too many advert interruptions either. There are a few breaks for ads but it carries straight on without any apart from one 30 second Derren Brown monologue.
