Bob Mortimer is especially good on Would I Lie to You due to his colourful history, like a lot of people from the northeast he seems to have lead a life less boring.

Pork chop Johnson and the Shrubbery story are my two favourites.

You’d have thought Bob would have mastered the basics by now. It is the 4th series after all! The way he holds his rod when casting the spinner and the fact that Paul had to cast the fly rod for him....not to mention him trying to reel in the sea trout should be elementary for someone that has been tutored for this long by someone who really knows what he’s doing.
I must admit that, being an angler, I look forward to the actual fishing bits aswell as the lovely scenery, cooking, galavanting and tting around. Still one of my favourite shows on the telly.

The local fishing guide obviously put them onto fish but they both still did well to get some and to land them. Bob really does need to calm down on the wind in but he does add value being a plonker!

Tbh he over does the fool at times to the detriment of the programme imgo.

Enjoyed last nights program but echo the remarks about Bob overdoing the fool bits. Funny in season one but now starting to spoil the show a little. Overall still very enjoyable though.
