I’m watching Hijack and enjoying it despite working in the industry and knowing the entire thing is laughably inaccurate. Easy watching.
You didn’t need to be an expert to realise most of the plot was bks!!

Just finished watching Black Bird. It is fantastic. A true story about a drug dealer who is moved to a high security prison to get a confession from a child killer in return for early release.
Stars Taron Egerton who is fast becoming one of my favourite actors.

Been waiting for this to come out before renewing my subscription.

Even though series 3 had the odd duff storyline, overall it’s just exceptional.

On the basis of that trailer series 4 should be a return to form. Here’s hoping…

For anyone who hasn’t seen it I can’t recommend it highly enough. And you just need to watch the first episode to know if it’s for you or not…

Pretty much the best TV I have seen for years. Taron Egerton is good in Tetris (also on Apple), Legend, the Kingsman films and Eddie the Eagle.

Paul Walter Houser was the standout for me in Black Bird (won a Golden Globe for it), created a really creepy character. He is also good in Richard Jewell

Totally agree about Taron Egerton. I first saw him as Elton John in 'Rocket Man' - great performance - then in Black Bird. To inhabit these 2 roles is a real achievement.

Golden Globe for PWH was fair - he needed to be exceptional to keep the story going, and he delivered.

Episode 1 of series 4 of For All Mankind now available. Can’t wait to get stuck in biggrin

Just renewed my subscription and rewatched series 3 which was far better than I remembered but still the weakest series so far.

Also watched the Morning Show having previously dismissed it assuming it was just a “kooky” comedy. It was anything but and a solid 8/10. I understand the following series are a letdown unfortunately…

Morning show was badly affected by COVID and should not have bothered, but the latest series seem to have left it's entire premise at the door and gone all out Grey's Anatomy story telling.... Shame.....

Worth noting at the minute - buy anything in the tech deal at Curry’s and you get 5 months free Apple TV; can buy a smart lightbulb for £7 and get it.
