I'm all for keeping women in the kitchen but I find "she's off" a little bit crass.

Fantastic episode, start to finish. I didn't even FF the celeb bit.

Agree with the comments on the Lancia mini-doc, more of that please.

That’s what Clarkson and May do best, both have been involved in some great documentaries. They seem to be far and few between these days, perhaps they were all on the BBC? I wonder what they prefer doing? May looks like he had enough of the grand tour a while ago,

I don't know if it was just the stream I saw, but it looked like the lighting in the tent made them all look ill - seemed to give them all a slight green tint frown

I think it's Amazon. GT on my TV has greens and reds that are all a bit radioactive looking. None of the other streaming services look like that.

I'm sure the girl they spoke to in the audience about hand brake turns was the one that won The Apprentice.
I've definitely seen her somewhere before.

Is May always quiet in the Studio bits? As in this epiosde all the banter was between Clarkson and Hammond, May barely spoke.

The last couple of episodes have been a significant improvement over before. Still parts to work on, but it does look as if they are finally heading in the right direction.

I would imagine they film everything, and then decide in which episode to show which bit, with only studio stuff live.

So not sure it is a case of 'going in the right direction', more that they come up with a bunch of ideas to film, and some are better than others, so next season will have the same hit and miss filmed bits.

Fair's fair, that was a pretty good episode.

Apart, I presume, from the celebrity bit, which does nothing but shorten the show by ten minutes because most people ffwd through it.

The Lancia vs. Audi bit was the first truly decent bit of telly in nearly two series of The Grand Tour. They need to increase their hit rate.

Thought it was on par with the Ferrari vs Ford GT40 Le Mans one last season

Good episode bar the refuelling which reminds me of someone desperately trying to be funny to a silent room....but more desperate than even that.

The Lancia/Audi bit was great. Great script by Richard Porter.

I know it wasn't but it seems to be the trend on here to suggest every word, every move is scripted by Richard Porter. Clarkson is a brilliant writer and journalist as anyone who has read I know you got soul will testify.

I don't know how much the documentary style films cost to make compared with the average segment on tgt, but they really should do some more
