That could be the one for me....
You got me thinking. Do they make synths to customers bespoke requirements? If you had an idea of what would be tour 'perfect 10', could they prepare a mock up on a CAD system, and when it looks right, build it for you. So, this is some kind of parallel universe (maybe anything's possible?) but I don't think they've tapped into "what people want" in specific terms. This (to me) makes the synth/human interactions quite real and understandable - and that's where ( I think) other people's issues with this series start to arise. Because you can't try and analyse it too closely and expect it to still be entertaining once you've peeled all the grapes.....
When a teenage boy gets invited into a teenage girl's bedroom, given the green light the first thought is - can I not interact with the 'real' you. Thereby passing up the opportunity...he must be a lad of estimable self control and has come a long way (don't snigger) since series 1.
This bks is getting slower and slower.

Mia's reaction was rather surprising. Over reaction malfunction?
A cunning ruse I reckon. The Don of Croy said:

The green lights were her eyeballs though. What was the packet of sweets all about? He mumbled something, but I couldn't make it out. This bks is getting slower and slower.
Why hasn't someone made a synth with large breasts?
They do seem to come with an invisible bullet detecting shield though I've noticed...

I'm still enjoying it so far - I think the chase down of Niska was a bit too half hearted really.
I think Mia will go "home" to be programmed by the daughter back to Anita.
The Seraphs though - I'm not sure where that might be going .....
Ah - good point on the daughter.I think Mia will go "home" to be programmed by the daughter back to Anita.

(As an aside it was very annoying that she plugs the "immature" consciousness code into Odi and the 1/100,000 chance of him becoming conscious - works out...)
Surely if you are introducing consciousness parents are going to want to raise one of these "children" (the newly conscious synths often refer to themselves as such - which is accurate given the way Hester behaves) - so having little ones that can learn would be a solid money-spinner.
You then send them into the world without telling anyone so that you can slowly gain world domination as Google/Qualia OBVIOUSLY want to do that...
