Finally got round to watching the latest episode and it didn't take long for them to blow a car up. Why?!
Why not? I fail to understand the question.

Oh my lord. That side on view. What a thing...
I always liked the Lancia Monte Carlo, upon which the 037 was very loosely based

When do new episodes become available. Used to be Thursday night but not any more.

I've watched every episode so far from both series on Thursday night, it usually appears around 11pm

It’s strange. Series One used to come online about 10pm but not anymore for me.

No - it used to be 11pm, as I would spend time trying to get it before then to no avail.

Really enjoyed this weeks episode - by far the best TGT of this or the last series. As has been said, the Lancia section was fabulous (037... what a car).

lovely, but surprisingly modest on power (I know it's light) - only 205bhp at 7,000 RPM with 166 lb-ft torque at 5,000 RPM

after a bit of googling looks like the cooking 6R4 was 250bhp (fighting was 410bhp), 205 T16 was 197bhp, Rs200 was 250bhp

I miss rally cross

I do wish Clarkson would do more of the 'serious' stuff, the rallying piece was a real return to form.
Perhaps something about the 037's sibling, the MonteCarlo Turbo, and its endurance championships in '79, '80, and '81...

Because every week, without fail, at least one car blows up or gets destroyed. It's the same recycled unfunny attempt at comedy that they seem to do over and over again.

Except of course, people laugh, so people find it funny... unfunny is therefore just your opinion.

I have only watched the guest segment for tonight's show because I'm too tired to watch all of it however those guests are legends and I couldn't wait.

For the first time, the guest segment needed to be a lot lot longer.

Okay...so the boys are back in form and TGT is finding its stride. Wasn’t overly impressed with Series 1 and Series 2 wasn’t a lot better...until the last couple of weeks. And today’s S2/Ep8 was brilliant. Easily the best TGT episode so far. I really hope that they can stay on a roll.

Do NOT read the Telegrsph review before seeing latest episode. It lays out every scene. Even the results of celebrity face off. Chuck full of total spoilers. Description of every scene.

That episode needed to be twice as long, with at least an hour talking to the guests.

By far and away the best episode yet.

Go as far to say 9/10

Side point; is Honda UK really putting 'kiss' plates on their press cars? We're those picked by their blonde 18 year old work experience girl?

Completely agree. Not one second of this was skipped through whereas during other episodes I'll get up to make a tea and not botherto pause or rewind to see what I've missed. Celebrity F-Off is always fast-forwarded through but not on this occasion.

Even Hammond was bearable.
