Last episode of Sons of Anarchy tonight. Thoroughly enjoyed the series, brutal at times but very gritty and entertaining.
Will be jumping back into OITNB season 3 afterwards (should only take a week) then rewatching The Walking Dead prior to the new season in October.
Have just watched the first episode of the new series of SOA & thought it was very samey....I'm hoping it gets better. Will be jumping back into OITNB season 3 afterwards (should only take a week) then rewatching The Walking Dead prior to the new season in October.
With everything Netflix has to offer I find myself watching Airplane........again.
I have started watching Hannibal at work but we're on a dirty foreign server so get different shows....

I've just gone through Episodes at a record pace, is there a season 2 anywhere? It was so funny.
as in the comedy with Matt LeBlanc ?? - Season 4 has just finished on BBC2 ... the others are out on DVD! "How YOU smellin' ?"
I only just saw it on Swedish Netflix. I'll be back in the UK in a couple of weeks, I'll pop into HMV to buy the first DVD I've bought this year!
Watched the skating documentary 'All This Mayhem' last night - fantastic. Shows how talented people can destroy their lived with drugs, also gave a very interesting insight into then politics behind the big-name skating world in the early 00's. I'd definitely recommend it even if you're not interesting in skating.
Also watched 'Hot Girls Wanted' because it was about porn. Kinda disappointing, I think the doc wanted to show the exploitation of young girls in amateur porn, which it did in a way I mean some of the stuff was quite harsh. But at the same time, all the girls were full of attitude and independence, seemed to know exactly what they were getting into, only to complain about it and feel used once they were cast aside after 3 months of being choked by penis's

Watched two documentaries this weekend:
-The Summit
-The Secret War
The Summit was a really compelling story about the climbers who died on K2 in 2008, really enjoyed it.
The Secret War is about rape within the U.S. Military and mainly focuses on the traumatic experiences of various females although does feature male perspective as well. Whilst it was good and shocking, I am not sure where they got some of their stats from but it really is worth watching as it made my mind boggle and also made me feel really bad for the victims.

Just watched this too, excellent documentary, whilst also very sad how 2 brothers could get themselves to the top of their game only to crash and burn so dramatically through drugs - quite shocking the turn of events in the younger brothers life particularly. Thanks for recommending thisGreat documentary and heartbreaking to see the decline of the two Aussie lads.
There's a documentary on there at the moment called:
Tig
About an american comedian Tig Notaro (odd name yes). Never hear of her before myself but she's friends with Sarah Silverman and that ilk
It's not the happiest watch but she's very funny and it's a pretty 'gripping' story about her coping with cancer and I guess her comedy helping her.

Bloodline - a convoluted tale of a family living in the Florida Keys.
Episode 1 bored me. Episode 2 caught my attention. Episode 3 had me hooked.
It looks fantastic, has actors you'll recognise, and I really like it.
Oh and It's got Chloe Sevigny in it.
Did you ever catch her in "Hit & Miss"? I expected that to get another series or two.Episode 1 bored me. Episode 2 caught my attention. Episode 3 had me hooked.

I read earlier that Lilyhammer isn't being continued so series 3 was the last.

I've seen that pop up when I log in and it looks tempting, but I'm ploughing through BSG at the moment. On S3E3 now, only 40 odd episodes to go! Episode 1 bored me. Episode 2 caught my attention. Episode 3 had me hooked.
