Has no one mentioned his girlfriend?, looks quite fit for a maturer lady and JC is defo punching.
Plenty of times and it comes across just as creepy each time someone does. ChocolateFrog said:

She seems very nice and very grounded, gets on with stuff and just seems normal.
She's 6'2" as well which makes her a bit of a find.
Ideal height for a wife or girlfriend.
If you're 7ft tall maybe. She's 6'2" as well which makes her a bit of a find.

In heels she'd be eye to eye with a 6'6" bloke.
I'm 6'4" and my wife is 5'11".
It's nice to be able to talk to a girl without getting a crick in your neck.

At what point does a persona become reality?
I finally got around to watching it after pressure of numbers told me it's a great series - of course I agree.
What amazes me is just how entertaining this series has been. The producers have been incredibly successful in identifying the real people who would make this so watchable. Combining that with a subject matter and the JC persona which many believe is real.
This wasn't about JC but JC no doubt was the bond which brought it together.
Outstanding TV and proof that reality TV if done well is not dead. Not by a long way.

Watched the last two lastnight. Caleb in London with the horrible satnav was great (the bars and restaurants on the Shard probably all look very similar, but it did look like the place CHM finished the Veyron v Cessna race). Whether or not they do it again for another series, this series has been great.

Plenty of times and it comes across just as creepy each time someone does. Nothing perverted mentioning her, every other character has been discussed in the thread. Look at him, then look at her. He's doing well. They both seem happy, it's all good.

That's pretty much what he says in this interview - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=feivyZ7xQmQ&t=...
He realised the characters working on the farm would be good on TV and that he would be in the middle for the appeal.

I doubt Jezza is getting some crazy amount for the show, he doesn't need the money and he's not stupid,
He got £800,000 per episode of Grand Tour, and more for the specials, plus all filming costs on top, so I think he knows what he's worth to Amazon. If anything this show has attracted more mainstream interest than the Grand Tour. Caleb is definitely the new Richard Hammond and Charlie the new James May. I wonder how much they paid them both though to appear ?And I'm sure he's got lots of ideas for Series 2. Setting up a brewery or cheesemaking ? A music festival maybe ?
Just surprised Amazon didn't release it one show a week like they do with GT. I've subscribed for a month to watch it and will be gone soon - not much else on there worth watching.

It was probably more along the lines of "We would like to hire you at your usual rate, but you'll also get to appear on TV which will promote you as a person and promote your business"

18 seasons of Clarkson's Farm ending with him carting around an oxygen tank & grandpa Hammond taking over the running of the farm does not fill me with positive thoughts.
I hope they leave it at one really good season of 8 episode & don't ruin it by turning it into a cash cow (get it?).
I think discussions over how much he or the rest of the locals got paid is missing the genius of the show concept.
Ex celebs putting money into farming is not a new thing. Lots of them do it and discover the joys (and challenges) of doing so.
Somebody one day decided that this could be made into a fresh show.
That to me is real creative thinking.
The producers have really brought out the most interesting aspects of the subject matter and the individual characters.
I think I'm over examining this now - it was simply enjoyable which surely is why we watch TV in the first place.
Nice to see something which isn't just same ol' same ol'. If JC would have revisited anything he's done before, I doubt it could have been better.

I've now finished the series and I thought it was great. I really hope he does another, there are so many more areas of farming I'd like to see covered, dairy cows, pigs, apples, soft fruit, greenhouse/poly tunnel growing, more aquaculture, different cereals etc etc. There's more than enough material for more series and I for one found it both educational and entertaining, best thing I've watched in a while.
Kaleb's already got an agent, judging by his Instagram, and when interviewed on This Morning yesterday commented that he can't walk down the street without being asked for selfies. Kind of sad but inevitable I guess. I bet the poor lad just wants to be left alone to crack on with his job which he clearly adores.

Only watched the 1st 2 so far. Do we think that was a genuine tear in the eye when he came out of the abattoir office to find the 3 Ewes were already chopped?
Feeling a bit conflicted about this one. Enjoyed episode 1 but when they got to episode 2 and showed him buying livestock i turned it off (bit of a softy where animals are concerned). Shame to miss the rest but i suspect animal rearing/slaughter runs fairly tightly throughout all the episodes, what with it being about a farm.
Very much enjoyed first episode though.

Your suspicion is ill-founded. Livestock forms a relatively small part of the enterprise. But there are parts, such as the sheep shearing, where some folk will not like the way the animals are handled, even though they don't suffer.Lily the Pink said:
