Just back from seeing it, and even though i know the film word for word it was still BRILLIANT!!!

It also reminds me just how efficient older action films were - no pointless filler, just everything pushing the story along, and no stupid "in" jokes or stty improv-style "comedy".

Now I want to see Predator, Aliens, T1 and 2 and Die Hard on the big screen.

Morbius utterly ridiculous, but I always find Leto fairly captivating as long as he is not playing the Joker.

Nobody

Taken meets John Wick meets the Equaliser. Basic hero kills everyone type movie. A good watch if you like that sort of thing.

The Northman

Intra-family relations turn sour and a young boy grows up to avenge his father's death. Run of the mill Viking sword and savagery saga that goes on too long.
I tried to watch this last night. The part at the beginning where they were acting like dogs in some ceremony made me skip/FFWD whole sections, and then I found myself doing it over and over again until at about 1hr in, I realise there was nothing I wanted to hang around to watch anymore and switched it off.

It was pretty rubbish, I deleted it straight away.

Feel sorry for me. I was told it was this generations gladiator so saw it at the actual cinema.

Seems to be a bit of a marmite movie though with viewers either liking or hating it.

Yes, the usual caveman tripe. No from me.

Watched Memory with the usual Liam Neeson though the Altsheimers was a reasonable twist. Other than that, more of the usual terrible shots save when the script required a hit.

And the Magnavolt anti theft system.

tbh - the last mainstream movie that reminded me of this genre, was STARSHIP TROOPERS - which i also enjoy watching over and over again...

The disastrous gas mileage was actually marketed as a selling point :-)
