Salvage Hunters: Classic Cars (Quest)
Discussion
They bought a Morris 1000 van and farmed it out to Charles Ware to have restored in Royal Mail livery. It was for sale on eBay for around £25k. That hasn't been seen yet and I believe that there is another Lancia and a Renault 5 to be shown. These have all apoeared for sale on eBay. Maybe these will be shown later in the year.

I think there is only one more. There are a few cars in the title sequence I haven't seen yet though.
I missed the first couple of episodes because I'd presumed this was one of the shows that is first shown on satellite, despite the thread title saying otherwise. Won't be long before they're repeated, though. All the series and episodes are detailed here:

When I first saw that BMW in the "barn", I recognised it from the November 2021 front cover of Practical Classics. There was a big write up in the magazine about 80s cars and tgey did the interview with them.
I completely agree about the colour. What is wrong with metallic red? Drew just cannot help himself. His tin of black paint doesn't seem to have a bottom to it.

In his antiques programme, Drew bangs on constantly about originality. In tonight's programme, he banged on about wanting to retain the carpet because it was original, but changed the colour! That red metallic was a nice colour and much better than the black. I think he has lost the poly somewhere along the line. At least, due to the age of the car, he wasn't able to put black number plates on it.
Ahh, droopey!! Yeah, keep it nice and original, but paint it black. Which hides all of the lines of the car!
Despite the stripe dude being good at what he was doing, the stripes looked terrible! The bonnet ones didn't work at all, neither did the ones on the boot. The front bumper ones were sort of ok, but really they should have only had the side ones.
The bloke who did the rocker cover etc did a nice job, but the circles on the casting looked awful. It would have looked a lot better if they'd have got rid of those.

Drew's obsession with wanting to paint every car black is ridiculous. He obviously has a very limited imagination when it comes to cars. In another of his progammes, he even said he hated the F40 Surely one of the most iconic cars ever conceived
The BMW 323 would have looked much better in light or dark blue or even its original colour. The original colour was 'period' and would have ticked the 'original' and 'patina' boxes he's always banging on about. As for the pinstriping. It looked fine down the sides but was just awful on the front spoiler and worse still on the bootlid
And whilst the craftsmanship that went into making the gear knob on the Alfa Romeo 2000 GTV was to be admired, to my eyes, it looked like something you'd buy from a well-known car accessory shop.
Likewise, the TR4 with its 'fake' wing vent. There's no doubt the engineering that went into making the vent was great but bonding it to the wing made it look like a cheap, nasty aftermarket part. And why ruin the interior by replacing the beautiful, original steering wheel with that Mota Lita?
Stick to selling furniture IMHO!
