Same here - absolutely fantastic, a 10/10 from me. Coming from binge watching Ted Lasso on Apple this complimented it really nicely. Can't help but admire Ryan and Rob for what they've done, although the genius bit was getting paid by Disney to do it
We worked with Wrexham FC a few years back, was fun seeing some of the boards I'd designed and printed still around the stadiumJurgen Schmidt said:
War of the Worlds - S3
Quite a way through it and it seems to be garbage
Also, since Bill Ward has travelled back in time, why hasn’t he bumped into his self?
The second season lost the plot....Quite a way through it and it seems to be garbage

Will keep watching it, but it's not the best.
New season of Mysterious Benedict Society is getting the family excited.

Welcome to Wrexham
I'm not even a football fan but thought this was incredible.

I noticed that it has NYPD Blue, which I never watched in the early nineties. I thought I'd start watching it and I'm three episodes into the first season. I don't know how long I'll last as there's something like twelve seasons.
Blast from the past. Used to love NYPD Blue, not sure how well it will have survived the passage of time though!I'm enjoying it so far.

Same here, thoroughly enjoyed that.
I started it the other night and blasted through a few episodes. What’s going on with the subtitles? Surely the local accents aren’t that hard to make out?Chris Type R said:

Surely the local accents aren’t that hard to make out?A quick thanks to those who recommended Welcome to Wrexham. We have Disney+ on a very cheap deal which was purchased with the children in mind. Thanks to your recommendations I discovered the default age settings were set to exclude “grown up stuff” and thus had no idea Welcome to Wrexham was a thing. Really enjoying it.
The subtitles thing is mildly funny to a Brit since the accents are so slight to my ears but the show was made very much with the US in mind. We have American relatives who visit often and it is a surprise how frequently they need me to repeat what has been said by another as they find it hard to tune in to unfamiliar voices.
Thanks again.
Anything else?,

As a football fan, who grew up just over the border from Wrexham in England, I used to go drinking in Wrexham a lot.
I was a little dissapointed with the series, it seems quite rushed, would of been better spread over a longer period and 10 episodes or 8.
?? There are 18 episodes, the last thing I thought of was 'rushed', even going off on little side stories like supporters cancer treatment, relationship breakdowns etc. I was a little dissapointed with the series, it seems quite rushed, would of been better spread over a longer period and 10 episodes or 8.
Maybe some needless content for UK folk (although the Wales episode was very amusing), but perfectly understandable given the global audience.

I've just watched it, was enjoyable but very Hollywood and maybe a touche too cheesy at times. Shame they didn't get the result as that would have been icing on the cake.
