The Fall - tonight 9pm BBC2
Discussion
I think it's excellent and portrays this part of the UK fairly accurately. Same coke-sniffing and undercurrent of organized crime with the added twist of sectarian unrest. Stella wonderfully acted by Ms Anderson and even the fact she slept with the Chief (hasn't he done well since Cal) is a revelation. I bet the perpetrator's 405 diesel gets the chop too as they are in banger territory over here too. Finally how did the baddie get on with that fifteen year old???

I don't know why everyone is raving about it. The first episode bored me to sleep, the second episode wasn't much better, I've deleted it off my sky+.
With so much utter tosh on the box at the mo, this is at least one of the better things. I don't watch much, but this has me wanting to see the next episode (and not just on the off chance of a flash of Scully's tits!).To adjust PH's famous line - 'That the drama, at first just moody, turned a blacker shade of ochre'
With apologies to Booker and Reid.
Strange to have one episode without a new revelation about Sculley's sex life being mentioned (or did I miss that).
Properly nasty assaults at the end - disturbing stuff.

Judging by the coy look scully gave the lezzer constable and the bored way she went back to her hotel and laid on the bed, she's either going to be rug munching in the final episode or will be coming to a sticky sweet night end from the beardy weirdo.
Not sure why that bloke didn't either run into the street to raise the alarm or pick a better weapon to tackle him with.
