There's that, the hooker scene and the randy councillor, that's about it as I recall.

Plus the one where the diner waitress is bouncing up and down on McNulty.

Sonja Sohn gets down to it with her partner iirc.

George Gently
Judge John Deed
The redhead shows her arse off in that, and there's a brothel so might be a bit saucy.

If you like politico then maybe try house of cards. There is about 5 secs of nudity and 30 secs of sex across the whole 13 episodes

Yes, has to be West Wing. Utterly superb in every way.

The ending of the second season is one of the pieces of television that everyone should have seen.

The Newsroom is superb. Written by Aaron Sorkin who did the first few seasons of The West Wing which I can also recommend. If she likes Sci-Fi you could try Babylon 5?

Breaking Bad is, for me, the best TV drama I've ever seen. Can't recall sexual violence from it.
Yep

Best TV drama ever IMO and very little sex (it isn't on HBO) and no sexual violence at all from what I remember.

Also note the lack of any strong language - I think they allow one word per season? No skimping on gore or serious violence but sex and rude words nowhere to be found. Seems to just be one of the rules on AMC.

The missus and I quite like Lie to Me among some of the others that have been mentioned, it touches on the taboo subjects but rarely in great detail. There are also some interesting aspects of the science behind it.
