The Caitlin aspect is an interesting one. Who would she just instantly succumb to?
What happened to her old fella who used to be half of Firestorm? Did he die? Could be him.
Ronnie Raymond was lost at the end of the First series when the Singularity closed Leaving Stein behind. The idea is that he became trapped in the Speed force at that point. The down side to the theory is that Savitar supposedly came from the Future which this does not fit. That is unless their some some extra "timey wimey" to come. What happened to her old fella who used to be half of Firestorm? Did he die? Could be him.

Shame , and also barry having trouble dealing with killer frost at the start , he's meant to be the fastest man alive etc etc
Well yes, but as we know after a few seasons, he's the fastest man alive..... until he's not. Which seems to be every week. Also - the whole Iris being killed thing (which I wish they would do, as I dislike her character) - surely he could just wait until it has happened then jump back in time to the second before and whammy Savitar from behind before he does it? Or maybe that's too simple...

But time travel is integral to the whole Flash universe, I can forgive them doing it.
And it's slightly important for Legends to do it, wouldn't be much of a show without it
I know, but it just causes time loops that don't make sense. And it's slightly important for Legends to do it, wouldn't be much of a show without it
For example in Flash, he goes to the future and sees how broken up the team is over the upcoming death of Iris. This then means that he vows not to be like that if/when it happens, but if that was the case then the future he just travelled to would be different. And Barry in the future would know that he travelled forward in time 8 years prior, and what he tried didn't work etc etc and round we go again.
It's all just lazy writing as you can just re-set/reboot at any point in time.
