How are you watching this in 4K?
First, you need a good internet speed, over 40 would be best. They crank up the download rate somewhat for the 4k. It is about the best streaming 4k I have seen (I don't use Youtube).iPlayer. Look up the settings. There is a Beta option. Enable that. Check to see if there is a 4k test loop available. Then look for the program in the menu, usually at the top when the program starts. I have not looked to see if they keep it available for a week or so.
If there is no 4k in the beta, your panel is probably not BBC authorised. They use HLG as a HDR format, different to HDR 10. That is not being awkward, there is a good reason.
I use my Panasonic disk player as my TV is not on the list. Edit. Funny, I check my disk player and that is not on the list? Just see if you can access the Beta 4k in the settings.

Edit. Just checked, the UHD versions are still available, all episode. Guessing they will be up until the series is run?

I assume you're using iPlayer from the TV's app? I have a PC (Windows 10) under the TV for Netflix, Youtube etc...works well, but I'm not sure if iPlayer can do 4k from a PC?
I have 300mbps pure fibre from Gigaclear so no issues with internet speeds.

Thank you - I need to update my TV!

My LG TV will not do it, not HLG compatible (too old by a year I think). BBC never really dealt with the iplayer app issues on my year of manufacture anyway meaning it is terrible before I even try to look at Beta.I assume you're using iPlayer from the TV's app? I use my Panasonic 4k disk player (UB820), it is not listed as it turns out. But it does convert HLG HDR to HDR 10 and does it very well and is great with OLED screens.
If you can find the option in the Beta, then it will very probably work, as I found out, is the only thing I can say. I use iPlayer on my computer for catchup on the news or something but through the browser and the Mac is not 4k. No idea with a PC.

Dunno. The episodes on iPlayer at the moment are the ones transmitted so far I think.
Sound tracks can be re done post filming in edit, what was the problem?
The wrong 'voices' for some animals, seems like they don't always use live audio, some fakery going on...not for the first timeSound tracks can be re done post filming in edit, what was the problem?
It's simply astonishing the advances in HD filming, we even now have night vision in high quality! The wolf and lynx footage was truely astonishngly good!
Does anyone know how this sort of series is commisioned? It's always small teams of people, filming very specificly to catch certain animals and behavoir? I guess the comissioning editor accepts tenders for certain footage/locations ?

The night shots of wolves were amazing, the detail of their fur etc is ridiculous.
And I've been following the Iberian Lynx numbers and project for years as it came up in my MSc and that footage was just brilliant. Given a lot of money and no responsibilities Iberian Lynx in the wild would be very very high on my list of things to see. Great that the numbers have recovered so strongly.

yeah, notable the Lynx were all tagged! Not sure if that means live tracking or not? Does anyone know what the IR camera that was used for the Wolves was? Seems an incredible bit of kit (and probably with an incredible price tag to match!)
