His career might be over, but at least for him he’s already made his ££ millions. Whereas if a normal persons career suddenly ended it could be financially devastating for them.

Schofield will no doubt disappear with his ££ millions from public life and could live anywhere he wants in the world, never to be seen again. Or if things get criminal he could find it all too much.

According to the internets he is worth about £10million. He still (curiously) isn’t divorced from his rather long suffering wife, and that isn’t going to be cheap. PR and lawyers are not likely to be cheap, and his earnings are going to slump to pretty much zero. Can’t see the celebrity game shows picking him up any time soon, and he’s already done a book, now proven to be a load of nonesense. Sure, he isn’t going to be a pauper, but is going to be living a much reduced lifestyle.

I'm surprised it's only £10m tbh. I wonder how much he has in the bank. Previous poster is right about his options to disappear.

If no legal issues, I'd just go and live in barnados, Mauritius or Thailand. Spending my remaining days drinking beer and cocktails by the pool and BBQ'ing

I wonder if I'm Phil's type... Nearly 40, face like an angry bulldog and about a stone overweight.

How did "insert celebrity name from 70's" get away with it? Well there is a system and we have seen it's hand in plain sight.

Wonder if the deleted thread can now be reinstated now that he's admitted its all true.
He definitely hasn't done that.

This is step 2 of damage limitation. Give the media a few more scraps of information in the hope they'll leave him alone.
... An do it on Friday night of a Bank Holiday weekend.

Anyone know the age of the 'Young male colleague' when he started on this morning?

does it matter? If he's working he's legal so to speak. If he's been groomed that's a whole other kettle of fish and (AIUI) illegal no matter his age when the affair started. There's also the whole 'power dynamic' thing going on where the senior person can make or break your career...

He said 'by the time the affair started it was legal'

His agent binning him off is telling, they don't tend to do that if the star can still make them money. He's clearly persona non grata now, and there's more to come beyond losing the ITV gig.

Just read that PS started following the 'young male colleague' on twitter when he was 15, that in itself is weird.

Wanna get weirder?

This is runner on the left when he was 11 and acting in a theatre group of which PS was a patron.

But did he mean to type Barbados?
Or maybe there’s a Barnados in Barbados?
