Risky Biz unquestionably kicks the derriere of Bueller - let's get it straight.

Which may have an immense amount to do with Rebecca De Mournay, for whom the phrase hubba hubba was created.
Mia Sara all day long.

Ferris is THE ultimate feel good film.
100% disagree; Bueller is to the early 80s brat pack stuff what Led Zep was to early heavy rock - fabulous, part of a movement and undoubtedly creative and worthy but part of a zeitgeist which all too often blinds the unquestioning supplicant to other qualities, to wit, Deep Purple and here, films with characters like Guido the pimp.

{Btw, KEF 30% price hike from April 1st. frown}

Le Mans. Rubbish film, as are all other motor racing films. If I want to see footage of old racing cars I'll watch a film of a vintage race.

All Bond films except Dr No and From Russia with Love.

While I'm at it Point Blank and Gross Point Blank aren't all that good (maybe I just don't like films with the word Blank in the title?).

And Good Will Hunting + Dead Poets Society.

Glad to get those off my chest.

Indeed anything with that beaming twot Robin Williams in.

Slimy, sweating, paedo-faced cretin.

ETA: Fisher King is ok though.

Totally agree.

Except for Dead Poets Society - that was quite good. Captain, my Captain!

Withnail & I.

Not funny, no matter how many times you quote it in my face.
I have to agree. I didn't see it when it was first out so maybe I missed the hype. But other than a few little funny sketches, the rest is just odd. I mean, the over acting and drug taking just don really impress me...

Maybe I am just a prude?

Pirates of the Carribean. I can not understand what ANYONE sees in this film. Johnny Depps performance isn't awful!.

Other crap films that are unfathombly popular:

Lock Stock
Braveheart
Layer Cake
The Sixth Sense
Actually, anything by M NIght Shymalalalalalan
Gone in 60 seconds.
Saving Private Ryan
The Matrix
The Saw Movies
Alien
Terminator
Harry Potter
Lord of the Rings
Anything with Will Smith (Apart from Pursuit of Happyness)

I reckon your kids are telling you what they want you to hear. In 20 years time you will be told the truth at a Sunday lunchtime and unmercifully mocked smile

I will not even dignify any criticism of Ferris with a response.

However the LOTR films are as Kevin Smith described them basically nine hours of film of people going for a walk. A very pretty walk but a very boring, long winded and tedious one.

Don't get Withnail either. Saw it once thought it was funny but no great shakes. Maybe its because I was never a student.

Moulin Rouge

Pretentious claptrap. Lovely visuals but I had to turn it off.

Try the official web site & download the drinking game that accompanies the film, play along & then tell me you don't find it funny ..............

Jesus, it sounds like you've got a warped taste in film.

2001: A Space Odyssey for me.

I simply can't believe that no one has mentioned it yet but the godfather trilogy. I am not claiming that i don't like it, in fact quite the opposite but it is viewed as one of those films that everyone should like despite it being very lengthy and slow paced.

Okay - Withnail & I... not to everybody's taste, and I've never watched it when sober...

"I'm Making Time" hehe

I'll let that one go. But Ferris Bueller's Day Off!?! Are You Mad!! I watched that film so many times I know it line for line!!

He'll keep calling me, he'll keep calling me until I come over. He'll make me feel guilty. This is uh... This is ridiculous, ok I'll go, I'll go, I'll go, I'll go, I'll go. What - I'LL GO.
HOWEVER... Here is 1.2 hours I'll never get back:

I just didnt get it... only film I ever wanted to walk out on.
