Best Bloke Films are:

Mad Max 2

This is a factual list based on facts.
confused

Because the original Mad Max is such a chick-flick? What with (reasonably) graphic rape, murder, mother and baby run over and killed etc.
Mad Max is Great but The Road Warrior is a better bloke film. No families, hardly any feelings. Just a broken man scavenging for a tank of 'guzoline' in a wasteand filled with cool cars.

I'm a sensitive guy. I cried when I watched it.
I thought, that looks painful.

I'm watching 4 on Sky Movies now. Must admit I'm finding it hard going, but then I have just watched the first 3 back to back. Thought 4 was pretty good last time I saw it.

Out of interest, has anyone mentioned The Last Boy Scout?

For me (and based upon my wife's refusal to sit through re-watches of these films) it would be:

Mad Max 2
Blade Runner
Ronin
Black Hawk Down
Death Race
Aliens
The Great Escape
Pitch Black
Fast and the Furious (I know but it is a bit of a lads film, cars, girls, overly dramatic speeches...)
Two lane blacktop
Bridge over the river kwai
Get Carter (the Caine original, not the naff remake)
Rock n Rolla

and virtually all the Bond films, especially Quantum of Solace.

Films I would have included but can't because the wife likes watching them (even though I think they are lads films):

Italian Job (original)
Goodfellas
Zulu
Gone in 60 seconds
Snatch

It's a fair point!

Completely off topic but I have finally just bought the Auto Art 1/18 scale Mad Max Interceptor. It is truly a fantastic recreation of the V8, right down to the "hidden weapon under there" by the bomb deactivation switch.
