She doesn’t have (IMO) the ability to make off-the-cuff jokes, comments, general repartee like hosts who are comedians by profession.
That's was our opinion too though her only witty retort about men over-emphasising the size of things was a good one. BTW does anyone else wonder what Ian Hislop scribbles down during the show?

I thought she was absolutely fine and satisfactory; we've had way worse.

Honestly, I think some of you guys watch this show with a microscope and clipboard just looking for things to criticise. nerd

I thought she was perfectly good too. Anyway, aren't BBC staff always very limited on what they can say in case they upset a Tory minister?

Best show in a long long time .
All the panellists were on form and Kirsty Young had some good lines too

The writers definitely deserve a bonus after that one, Ian seemed to be really enjoying it.

You sure it's brand new? Doesn't say so on the Sky programme guide...

Very few.
The way things are going they don’t need satirists taking the piss, they do it all themselves. Sadly though it’s all real, and the joke is on the country.

I agree, Jon Richardson wasn't saying a lot either though, seemed to mainly Ian & Paul along with Clive. Mildly amusing though, and always good to see Ian talking sense.

Not in the short cut but she and Ian did "win" so hopefully more voice in a Bit More News. Good fun still, makes me giggle. Small pleasures.

Me too. Not a vintage episode, but still worth the price of admission, as it were smile

Bitterness, rather than good satire. Not the best episode by a long shot.
