I'll record it so I can get annoyed with all the complete bks spoken, watch the minimal effort producing complete crap. Just visit Retropower to see how to do it properly.

Thanks for the warning. I lasted 5 minutes before turning it off.

I thought they were ok until I watched other similar programmes such as Fantomworks and Kindig Customs etc and realised their creations are nowhere near the level of those guys.

Certainly not their worst build, if a little over dramatic over the dropped valve.

Yes was all ready to be outraged at the stupid, but my piss remained unboiled during the fiesta one. They did normal stuff and it looked OK.
Seemed remarkable that the engine shat itself as they handed it over!

Caught the last 10 minutes of the Fiesta episode. Looked quite good IMO, Needed either the front bumper adding or rear deleting IMO looked weird with just the rear. I'd have a zetec under bonnet to match the looks though.

I couldn't get past the contrived pissing all over the MK2 Escort and the deliberately smashing up the front end. The paint choice was also terrible.

The funniest bit was the way they routed the full harnesses in the Datsun Z car. tts.

I treat this as a comedy programme and watch it to see how badly they “makeover” a car.

Whoever commissions this load of rubbish needs sacking.

Who welds up a car with soft silver rings on all their fingers, stage managed throughout and not interesting to watch. The Merc with twin spare wheels cut into the boot, where does the rain drain, just did my head in.

I do not believe the programme makers believe a car enthusiast wants to watch this rubbish. Do they struggle to get advertisers to pay for adverts during show?

Just watch it and have a good laugh

Oh dear it doesn't get any better does it!?! That Mini last night was dire too. He needs all of the boot space for his paramedic gear so that's where we'll site the air ride gubbins decreasing the available usable space. Cherry red wrap looked nearer to pink to me too?

Going against the grain here, but I like it.
But I like "The joy of painting"

Goblin Works

The show first aired on January 11th at 9pm on Quest TV in the UK and after huge success the show was commissioned for another 2 seasons. Season 3 is now airing around the globe on Discovery channel.

I've no idea what is, or how you measure, a huge success.

Have you watched Retropower on YT ? https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=retro...

Such a huge success that they deleted and blocked me (and many others I'm sure) from making negative comments on their social media. It's such a weak format and has been done way better by the likes of Gas Monkey Garage etc. It did make me laugh when they tried to convince us that Helen whatshername was welding though. laugh Other than that it's just very cringe no matter how many times they say artisan whilst wearing brown dungarees.

Looks like need for modification doesn’t end at cars for Helen. She seems to have fitted some trout lips and a Botox pack.
Rule of thumb, less is more in life as well as car styling!

Watched the Mini episode. All the Goblin crew did was remove a busted bumper, drill 4 holes (badly) for a spoiler, produce a bad illustration of a squashed mini, and talk a lot. The air suspension was done by another, so was the wrapping, also the stupid wing mirror painting. The interior just mysteriously appeared and was fitted by whom ? Nearly forgot, they put the wheels on with an impact wrench. WRONG. You need to torque them to the correct value.

I've not seen too many episodes but the few I have seen were visually, absolutely hideous. The 944, Mini & Supra were just Dreadful looking things. Haven't watched it since.
