Hadn't played the game so perhaps that's a factor but it didn't do a whole lot for me, started well enough and episode 3 was really good but found it aimless and disjointed as it progressed and final episode ended quite abruptly. Above avg TV for me...not a patch on something like Succession!

The “making of” was on sky last night.

Interesting to see the development of the prosthetics used in the show.

Didn’t see this, but I did see a behind the scene photo Pedro posted of him and the two guys dressed in full clicker prosthetics and it was wild how detailed they were.

Well I very much enjoyed that. The only downside to me was a bloater, wasn't needed IMHO.

I do think I was more emotionally invested in the game though....

Great to see Nick Offerman calling out the homophobes. Long Long Time was the best episode of the first series

Thanks for the reminder. Great episode that I'm going to try to watch again tonight.

It was a good episode but seemed incongruous. Expecting an hour of dystopian zombie terror I got an hour - long love story instead. Bit odd I thought.

I think the writers took a bit of risk here and it paid off as many have said it was one of the best episodes even though it didn't fit directly with the overall narrative from the story (although mentioned in passing during the game). I am feeling like it watching the show again but will wait and rewatch before season 2 comes out. This scene early in the season still gets me. She as an expert knows what is coming and probably know there is no hope as even bombing will not help..

I liked that it was kind of a "bottle" episode which is a format that's often missed now from the structure of these short-run series. For fans of the game, it gave them an expansion to the story only hinted at previously and for those of us new to the series it gave us a beautiful story within a very dark and bleak world.

Certainly, one of the best episodes of TV I've ever seen and I went in knowing it was supposed to be emotional and almost determined not to be swept up in the hype but damn was it outstanding and got me right in the feels.

Are there any firm updates on season 2 with regards to release dates etc?
