Started season 2 of The Punisher yesterday and really enjoying it so far, definitely my favourite of the marvel lot.
We've enjoyed most of the marvel TV shows - the low point was the first season of Iron Fist, but even that was enjoyable. We've got about 4 episodes to go with Punisher now. We're dragging it out a little knowing that there's only Jessica Jones to go. And then probably no more Marvel stuff on Netflix.Alex said:

Sex Education.
Really like this, sat with the wife watching it and we soon rattled through a few episodes. First episode a little slow I guess, but the characters were all really likeable, Eric was like Andi Peters on steroids lol!
Funny in places, but some oddly serious parts as you get further in.
Agree on the setting, Wales is lovely, 80's clothes, iPads, American look....weird, but works.
Loved this bit
"I've been wking all night, I ate four packets of crumpets and I think my clit might drop off" worst thing is, that girl looks almost idenitcal to my son's girlfriend only a few years older!
I've been binging on it! Wasn't sure about it after about 80% through E1 and then it really clicked. Love it and that quote above - hilarious!Really like this, sat with the wife watching it and we soon rattled through a few episodes. Gillian Anderson is a hoot
Season 2 of American Crime Story (Assasination of Ginani Versace)
Love the first season about OJ. Casting is as spot on in this one as it was in the former. The antagonist is truly an evil sod but infinitely watchable.
Respectable to the whole gay community which I'm pleased about, portrays GV as a genuinely nice chap cut down in his prime. Ricky Martin is good as the misunderstood and eventually grieving boyfriend and the whole thing is shot with a warm filter, much like the first. You feel, again, like you are in the 90s.
Class act though is Penelope Cruz as Donatella. Stunning, stunning stunning.

Enjoyed Travelers, so now having a go at Continuum. A few characters and graphics carried over from this to travelers, I assume the same production company. Also the same clock, which I do like!
Not too bad so far, however I can't imagine how they are going to carry this story line on for 4 seasons!

Just watched Nightflyers episode 1....think this is new? First time it’s been presented front and centre to me anyway.
Don’t think I’ll be going any further. It just doesn’t seem to work.
It is new, just recently launched.Don’t think I’ll be going any further. It just doesn’t seem to work.
We watched the first episode last night. I want to see what it is all about, and parts of it were beautifully put together. But I have a nagging feeling that it is a load of absolute ste.

Hurricane
Based on the true story of the Polish 303 Squadron in WWII, if you can forgive some shonky SFX and that the pilots continue to fly in a straight line when being shot at! It's very enjoyable.
6 Brownings out of 10 Hispano's
I liked this as well. It's not rocket science and it plays out every movie trope imaginable, but I ended up watching more of it over the top of a laptop than I expected to. That may have been something to do with the subtitles though...Based on the true story of the Polish 303 Squadron in WWII, if you can forgive some shonky SFX and that the pilots continue to fly in a straight line when being shot at!
