I went through a phase last year of recording and then watching every single one of those each day. The repeat schedule was odd. Sometimes the same ones would be shown 5 times or more before an odd one would pop up for the first time. It kept me on my toes anyway. Some of the big names took me by surprise too; Joan Collins, Derek Jabobi, John Gielgud, John Mills, Joan Greenwood etc etc. The US ones did nothing for me though I remember one good one at a gas station. And one (mediocre) one with John Travolta.

I recently got into the habit of watching The Weakest Link at 7pm on ChallengeTV, the older ones with Anne Robinson. They are really entertaining and I forget just how funny her faux-abuse of the contestants were.

"Put your board down... ok, imagine I'm one of your students, how would you teach me to kick a football"
Cue person kicking imaginary ball
"Is that it?"

...

I watched a few of the ones on BBC One now with Romesh - although I like him, it's just not that entertaining. It's all too night, and these modern day "celebraties" are too confident.

Even watching Bullseye it's amazing how meek and mild everyone was some years ago. They were softly spoken, really polite, etc.

Asking for a friend... Would Cuprabob happen to have a 10 second clip, about 7 minutes in of the "Great British Railway Journeys" with Michael Portillo?

Series 2 Episode 13 York to Saltaire where Michael is at the Turkish bath in Buxton and several nice ladies pass by in the background in their swimwear. Somethings caught my eye...

Have just completed Hill Street Blues , an age before wokism. Some one liners that’d get you banned from facebook and twitter and have a lynch mob camped outside your house now.
Can understand why the plug was pulled as the stories ran out but it was a good watch.
I started on the more gritty NYPD Blue last night.
Really enjoy watching Dennis Franz as both Buntz and Sipowicz

I've recently got a load of box sets of this, so I'll be giving it a go once I've finished the one I'm on now.
