Latest Samsung ad for a watch currently being done to death.

Shows a young woman doing things ‘on her own schedule’ cos she’s so independent / strong / individual etc. so she goes out for a run in the dead of night in the city. Fortunately only happens to bump into other trendy independent individual bohemian types. No sign of any murderers, paedos, muggers or nonces. There’s an owl keeping a beady eye on her though.

Local radio ad (but could be for a national company) which seems to air every 10 minutes featuring "It's the most Wonderful time of the year". A funking Christmas song! Supposedly for holidays, I think - I block it out. Anyone playing that crap outside of December should be locked in a room and subject to any one or several of the doings featured in Scum.

The TV version of that advert is equally, if not even more, annoying when you see it. As evidenced by the amount of different times PH'ers add it, correctly, to this thread hehe

Have we had Expedia and the new Ewan McGregor ad?

The ad itself isn't too bad but I just find the choice of music infuriating. As with so many ads, the sound track is quiet throughout and then when McGregor stops talking the volume goes to 11 and the chorus blurts out "I'D GO THE WHOLE WIDE WORLD!!!" in that awful scratchy voice, but only for about 2 seconds, bloody irritating as hell.

I want to change the Verisure advert from " Just do it" to " Just do one"!!! I assume they are deliberately crass just to wind us all up so much it is memorable.

Google can do one with their cringeworthy PC adverts about “why are women athletes judged on their looks” “why are there no women in building industry” etc. 18 seconds of unskippable adverts on YouTube. It is quicker to back out of the video and go back in to get a 5 second ad.
Those two need a girder to fall on them.
I get this one constantly, encouraging me to use Google. I'm on a Chromebook using Google Chrome as the OS. Don't cookies (or something, I'm a bit of a technophobe) tell them this, yet they are battering me with adverts to use a service I'm already using to see the advert they are constantly battering me with.

Also trendy "I'm the only woman on a construction site". I work in a construction related activity, my LinkedIn feed is full of women being "a woman on a construction site". Yes, still a minority certainly but Google have jumped on that bandwagon very late
"Why don't women's clothes have pockets?"

"Blah blah deliberately to depower females.... etc etc. "

"Wow thanks google i never knew that."

Not a 'wanna smash my TV set up' but a query:

The latest Irn Bru 'prom' advert - young man is waiting at the bottom of the staircase for his date descending, teenager comes down first, followed by her mum, followed by HER mum (on a stairlift).

Who is the teenager's mum? I've seen her in something before but can't place her.

There's a new Verisure ad out. Two women with umbrellas although the budget apparently didnt allow them to wait for a rainy day.

Even more irritating. The Wcensoreder family are incapable of speech, so radio listeners are spared the fkers.

Apparently OTB can get you through airport security faster. How? Security must be sorely tempted to strip search the fkers.

Don’t think anyone will be smashing up a TV for a poor advert in a cost of living squeeze.
