I’ve loved billions a shame it’s ending
However I have to state the BBC “the split S3” IMHO wiped the absolute floor with Billions utterly wiped the floor.
I enjoy US drama, Italian and British but the was hands down a UK demolishment of the US even though these two series Aldine really normally compete.
GO UK

Gave 2 episodes of The Split a try after you said this… not really sure how you could even compare them. The Split so far is rubbish, badly acted, and boring. However I have to state the BBC “the split S3” IMHO wiped the absolute floor with Billions utterly wiped the floor.

It’s like comparing The Bill to The wire.

You going to watch “the split”?
Wasn't planning to, no. It looks like another dour navel-gazing trudge where nobody turns the lights on.Gentleman Jack is also another you should give a try
Sorry but the show has jumped the shark.
Completely unbelievable storyline with the ADA running a personal campaign against Prince, joining in demonstrations on the street (that was the moment the shark was jumped).
No disrespect to Corey Stoll but there isn't the venality and darkness that Damian Lewis brought to the role. Add in the lame storyline with his (ex?) wife and it's far too soapy.
Also the writers have fallen into this lazy habit of making every character reference obscure celebrities and characters to make a point. It seemed to be Princes thing in S4 but now every character is doing it and its just annoying.

Soooo....
Just looking at IMDB and
AXE IS BACK!
Taken from the description of S7E2:
Original Sin (2023)
Prince recruits campaign support and encourages the Prince Cappers to aim high under a new directive for big swings. Chuck negotiates with a ghost from his past to advance a new agenda. Axe shares a glimpse into his new life.

Shows August 13 as the date for Episode 1. Maybe there's legs in this yet...

A new series doesn't necessarily mean it has legs. It was dragged along on its arse for at least two seasons, so I'm not confident, but try it anyway...
Can't believe it's still going. Loved the first few seasons but got bored at some point along the way. Think the last episode I remember watching was the one where Wags was drugged and kidnapped at an Embassy I think Gassing Station | TV, Film, Video Streaming & Radio | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
