Good, serves the arrogant fks right. A shame they're still working. They ruined what started out as probably the best TV series ever.
Yes, it's the sort of show I'd probably be watching for the 3rd or 4th time now, if it weren't for those last two seasons.Haven't re-watched any of it, still a sour taste.
Filming of the prequel series House of Dragon in Castleton Derbyshire recently..

I do find GOT a bit of a struggle to be honest, but the battle scenes are good and the girls get their kit off so it does have some fascination even if the story arc is a bit hard to follow. However, season 5 is harder than most. Whereas the lighting in previous series was very good, scenes supposedly lit by candles or oil lamps looked like they really were, but it was still bright enough to see what was going on. This one seems to me to be just too dim, even in the external scenes. Voices can be heard, occasional movements discerned in the gloom, but it's a real effort even to see the main characters.
Has anyone found this or is it just my TV or eyesight?

There was a lot of discussion at the time about how dark it was and lots of jokes to find something cheerier. But yeah, I got into the habit of watching it at night just so I could see what was going on.
I quite liked it as it mostly affected scenes in the North and fitted in with the whole "winter is coming theme".It was almost certainly affected by TV settings and how much light was coming into the room though. Perhaps it was less of an issue for me because of this.

Emilia Clarke has also confirmed that it's happening - https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-6189...Kit Harington will reprise his role as Jon Snow in a Game of Thrones sequel, Clarke says: "He has told me about it. And I know it exists. It's happening."
Will anyone watch it?
The final 2 series gradually got worse until the ending which was utter ste. Jon Snow ended up being a complete waste of a character because the writers lost their way with GRRMs direction.
As for ASOIAF the show is the only ending that we will get as GRRM clearly has no interest in completing the books, he has pretty much stated that the shows and history are more important.

George RR has confirmed his involvement in the Jon Snow spin off, so it may be good.
Maybe.Or he might just be taking an even bigger st on his legacy than he already managed.
I assume he gave up on writing as even the jokes about the books being late are years old - I remember a show doing one back in 2015.
