You have to pay for it on Prime but not elsewhere, and Snowfall is just so good I think it's worth reminding people it exists.

Free on Disney+, and maybe the iPlayer, although I deleted that ages ago so don't know if it's still on. So use one of them not Prime hehe

Still a little surprised Damson Idris isn't a bigger star, born in Peckham 32 years ago yet pulls off that accent and maturity of performance. His time will come.

Does Snowfall get better, cos I’m into S2 and so bored. There have been so good bits but few and far between.

Adverts are starting to annoy me that I’m barely using it any more.

I buy a lot on Amazon though so we mostly have it for deliveries.

Maybe cancelling it will be the push I need to stop buying so much.

Yes also thanks.

I was looking for a new series to watch, never heard of Snowfall, watched ep 1 last night - very good.

By ep8 you'll see some story line changes you may not have anticipated. I won't add spoilers, but there are reasons this runs to 6 full seasons, even if like everything there are going to be some filler type parts of episodes to move events from one place to another.

If it's generally your subject, where it lacks the humour of similar type shows, I think it's all the better for it myself.

American Fiction.

Stunning layered masterpiece, straight into my top 5 films ever...
Satire at it best, holding up a mirror to those that need it.... wonderful.

We’re the Sweeney and we haven’t had any dinner

If that isn’t a gem I don’t know what is!

I watched this over the weekend as well. I wasn't as enamoured with it as you were, unfortunately. It was beautifully shot and the performances all around were great but I felt it wasn't as clever as it thought it was and the two main stories never converged in any meaningful way.

Given it's Oscar I was expecting more I think, had I gone in with no expectations I perhaps would have enjoyed it more. Good film all that said and worth a watch, just not one I'd revisit.

Been watching a few episodes of Lovecars: On The Road with Tiff Needell.

Clearly a tiny budget compared to Top Gear or The Grand Tour but enjoyable if you want some car related content.

For me, Snowfall is up there with the best series I've ever watched. Impeccable television

Yep, thanks to the recommendation I'm up to S3 now - very good indeed!

As an avid follower of Coleman Hughes and John McWhorter, this film encapsulated what they have been saying for years so it struck a cord as i didn't think a film like this would ever be made.
So many falsehoods given as fact in the wider debate, because the actual facts can be offensive.
But the idea that all African Americans are down trodden victims waiting to be shot by the police and all share the exact same experience is factually incorrect and is actually racist..... yet its what the very well meaning left liberals do.
They bring them into one homogenous group with no nuance and who all think the same....

This film addresses that in a wonderful way....

The ads suddenly cutting in with no warning is what's putting me off.

YouTube is virtually unwatchable now. Even stuff that barely has 1000 followers has ads, sometimes every 5 minutes.

Good job the evenings are getting lighter so I can find something more interesting to do like go for a walk, work on the car or bike.

Also the 'illegal' interfaces are getting much more user friendly wink

Although I agree with what you say here, the ending missed it's mark for me. I loved how it started, and all the performances are brilliant though.

Anyone watched roadhouse yet? Will maybe put it on tonight. Loved the original.

Ads don’t bother me, they’re very short and infrequent. Certainly not enough to either stop watching the service or to pay more.

Get an add blocker. I have one on my PC and my mobile. I never see adverts on YouTube unless its build into the video like a word from our sponsor segments but they are early to skip/fast forward.
